I'm still trying to figure out why I lost my last B3 match, and ironically I have very low SB, which resulted in 0 shot blocks during all match!!

however, I have monster ID, and obviously that doesn't seem to help that much..

I have been always skeptical to SB, but I should probably give it a shot now..

Well, it wasn't clear why you should have won it anyway.
Looking at game resume, it was close game. That's all.

Try SB for knowledge sake if that's ok for you.

Call me crazy but I want to try something new.

If I promote and if this post gets a hundred gazillion balls then I want to try building a team that the BB´s have suggested for a long time.

In other words I will devote a season in D2 to transforming my team into one that looks something like this*:

Guards

JS: Marvelous JR: Tremendous
OD: Wondrous HN: Tremendous
DR: Marvelous PS: Proficient
Mediocre secondaries

Estimated Cost: 60k

Bigs

JS: Respectable JR: Mediocre
OD: Mediocre HN: Mediocre
DR: Mediocre PS: Strong
IS: Mediocre** ID: Marvelous
RB: Wondrous SB: Wondrous

Estimated Cost: 38k

(I realize that a big like this is next to non existant, I will most likely train two bigs with this build.)

*I know my players won´t have these exact skills but this would be the model build and I would potentially have a team that could defend inside players rather well and (hopefully) be able to score from the outside. I would definitely post any findings as well as how it competes compared to my run of the mill LI/High OD team that I have right now.

** I am rather fuzzy on the value of the IS I would aim for, I´m open to suggestions

What say ye?

Too bad I was one away from giving you your 1000th ball...

Any who I agree, I was hesitant once I realized just how useless my bigs will be on the offensive end, also that guard was more aimed at SG build which will probably still need a bit more passing anway. My PG will have much more PA, and because of that will probably have to have less JS due to salary concerns.

I´m shocked how few guards there are with this sort of skillset on the TL, and not a single big even came close to the build I have lsited. I feel that if my bigs can pass alright and make a JS here or there it would help a lot, I´ll decide more of this once I actually acquire a trainee or two. Most of this hinges on me getting a season where I´m free to train and not focusing on getting the heck out of D3, we´ll see what happens.

i make the experience that some IS help the offense, i probadly would sacrifice some ID or maybe a overall level of inside skills for more IS.

also i would add 1-2 level of JS, but if you manage to get a team like you have suggested i believe you have a very good div 2 team already.

Also i would go up in passing and sacrifice OD for some passing, at least my team is build around passing as offense skill and work quite ok with outside attack even when the shooting skills are outmatched by OD.
