I didn't waste much on scouting/interviewing after finding out the generally low level of talent (TSP) in this year's draft. If there is anyone with 5 potential out there, he's not a 5/5 and has a long road ahead to come close to achieving that potential. I'm picking 3rd and am okay with any of my top three choices, so decided to hang on to the 100 scouting points I still have. Perhaps I can bounce back up here after a season or two and have another shot at a high draft choice. Two seasons would probably be better, as at 10k per week on scouting I'd be back over 150 points by then.

It's been nice being up in the NBBA for a season, but I don't think I have much of a chance of beating Phyr at his place tonight. Wasn't able to find guys I liked at prices I was willing to pay to upgrade my roster this season to make it NBBA worthy. Basically I'm still just a strong DII team, and an aging one at that.

My money is on you bouncing back up in a season or two. I remember even when I had an incredibly stacked D2 team I was always nervous playing your squad.

Bad timing: managers have already acquired players for their playoffs push. Most managers would rather avoid having to stock pile salary at this point of the season, especally of aging players. Your best chance of making money is at the start of next season when new managers promote with cash to spend.
