Stazza83 hope you don't mind if I make a few comments. You have a dirt cheap roster -cheapest in the league which is great - bit I assume the Salary floor is about $70,000 so you could add $10,000 more and not actually pay a cent more each week.
Training will be your key this season but from here I can't tell what you are trying to do.
You have:
18 6'3" starter 4k PG
18 6'5" allstar 3k SG (injured for 3 weeks)
18 6'10" starter 4k C
19 6'9" MVP 3k C
19 6'2" allstar 4k PG
19 6'5" allstar 4.5k SG
19 6'0" pallstar 3.5k SG
19 6'0" pallstar 3.5k SF
To tell the truth I am not that impressed by any of them, but at least the last two have good height and potential but as 3.5k 19 year olds they are way behind. All these guys know how to train. I suggest you get three good trainees and make them into studs.
So assuming you will be training guards, a player like Antonio Tricomi is perfect for you, $10,000 a week and gets the job done. You could probably use another reasonable big man and a decent SF.
If you have 3 x 5k trainees.
4 x 10k guys at the other positions.
3 x 5k backups.
That would be about your $70,000 a week and would give you a better chance of winning the key games - which there aren't really many. Just stay above the Boganators and watch the bottom four in the Great 8 and make sure you can beat them.
Staff should be minimal. Max $5,000 each on doctor and PR - consider $2,000. Trainer I would try to get a level four fitness guy, you can get them with weekly salaries of less than $15,000.
Your arena is hilarious! Ticket prices must be changed before tuesday. Put the prices for lower tier and courtside way up, put luxury boxes up to near the max and build at least half a dozen. Arena = income. You MUST start building it, make this and training your top focus for the first 2/3 of this season.
Well that is a start, hope it is helpful. You are in a super interesting league and a tough one so good luck and good planning will be needed but at least it will be an interesting time.
