Anyway, another scrimmage with China lost, but looking at ratings I was really surprised it wasnt a complete blowout.

We'd have had better ratings on neutral and equal game shape which is what utterly perplexes me. If we saw all their players on the TL, I think everyone would be equally astonished.

Chile beat Poland to advance into world cup.

Brazil lost in last minute against Ceska Republica and only because of failed GDP. If they won it would be another huge upset, but still a decent result by teams from Americas

Ok, another friendly and unfortunately another loss. Anyone wants to take a crack at trying to explain what went wrong, whats required for outside isolation to be successful?

We scored great. 118 pts on 90 shots. Our worst FG% players this game shot 9-19 (3-8 from three) and 6-13 (2-2 from three). Our defence just blew. Maybe we'd have still outscored them with almost any other offence, though.

Yeah, its kind of hard to defend with 1 in enthusiasm :D I am afraid friendlies are not very useful except for choosing a roster. It seems like Hudgins>Gaudreault according to game engine

Ok guys, the schedule is out. I think we are in a harder of the two groups. Schedule is favorable though. We are not a favorites to make it into top 4 of our group and the first game will be most important one by a mile.

Thats why we will need perfect game shape. We start from same enthusiasm so thats where we can win/lose a game.
I would love for everyone with current NT player (and no NT prospect) to train GS this week.

And please go to the off-site and tell me how would you plan out the first stage of World Cup and why

Ok guys! World cup starts tommorow. I know its extremely late but I will put up game thread right now (didnt have time after GS update). Sorry for that. I hope to see at least couple of you at gametime tommorow cheering on our boys. This is an absolute must win!
