Always used grey. Dirk is right about it being easy on the eyes too.

Off-topic, please stop slowly ruining "The Friendly Confines" (Wrigley Field) with your construction, giant LCD advertising & such. Just move to the suburbs instead & make a generic ballpark. Since the majority of younger Cubs fans want a homogenized experience anyway. Thanks. (Come to think of it, not sure why they're even Cubs fans in the fist place. Chicago has 2 teams.. 1 that already operates the way they want, with even the type of ballpark they like.)

& all the other changes in the works. wouldn't be surprised if Wrigley eventually loses landmark status like what happened to the monstrosity that is the new Soldier Field. (if allowed to go that far)

Anyway, assuming you're probably in your 20s, right? Well the general feeling I get from most cubs fans in their 20s & even 30s is, "do whatever as long as it brings in more revenue", "any & all cubs traditions are stupid", & "time to become like every other team". (not all in that age range, but the definite majority). Parroting what's said on the radio more or less. What is your personal mindset?

I must be a bad person cuase I continue to enjoy the cubs misery.

Its kind of like watching a train wreck...you know its awful, you know the outcome, but you just can't help yourself....geez now that I think about it that's kind of like watching my team this season....stop the presses, EDH Cubs here we come.........naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah........

I love Wrigley Field...possibly more than I love the Cubs. In a perfect world, nothing about Wrigley would change. However, I am in support of keeping the place from falling down. So if renovations are needed to stop chunks of stone falling on my head in the lower deck, I'll support that. However, I am strongly against anything that blocks the rooftops, changes the CF scoreboard, or adds a large Video screen to Wrigley. What they are adding/changing in the RF area (LCD screen to display stats and scores, new party section) are things I'm not excited about, but also not too worried about.

This cannot possibly the attitude of any real Cubs fans...can it? I love the tale of the Goat, Ron Santo is my favorite Cub, and I can even get on board with "Go, Cubs, Go"...despite its cheesiness.

What is this in reference to? I certainly don't want the stadium to be like every other stadium...or the game start times to be like any other start times...but I would love it if we started to value position players who get on base and pitchers who throw strikes.
