Thought we might like an update...

The way it's balanced at the moment, every now & then teams get put into other Div IIs in Japan, outside of the logjam in II.1. There's currently even a solo manager in II.3. His top-salaried guy is on $5.1k. His entire roster salary is less than $30k. Yet this season, he's unbeaten, and all he has to do to promote to the JBBL is stick around. He'll get to the JBBL, and get absolutely crushed.
Which would be better, his current situation, or one where he starts in Div III, has pretty much the same experience as he does now, but when he promotes, promotes to a Div II where he'll have more competition, but not the godawful jump he's going to experience.

It makes a helluva lot of sense to start at the lowest point available, not the highest point available (as it is currently set).

240 messages in the thread. Except for Pini, evveryone is in favor. Surely that should count for something.

Again, the only nation I have personal knowledge of in this situation is Japan... thus why I am commenting pretty much wholly & solely on that country. But obviously, the quandary faced by my own country is widespread, as this thread has shown.

Update on the aforementioned Sashiogi Heaven (my last post). How bad are they? They lost to a bot last game.
But they will promote to JBBL next season in all likelihood.

Well, I didn't care to continue with that, but you think that being part of the majority makes your claim right...

How many of those 240 messages who support this, are from a lower division than DIV-I? or top team of DIV-II?

You have a way to think what ever you write is right even when no one is behind you. Having a lot of other users behind you sure must mean something. Dont you think?
Then i dont know how much it matters if they are from D.I or D.V.
There sure is a majority of higher division teams here i agree but not everyone is just looking out for them selfs as you seems to think.
The OP of this thread for example has nothing to gain from this more then probably seeing his own nation getting stronger.
Let's make it easier - let's open a thread offering directly money to teams from the first two divisions.
As this threads is read almost only by teams from that division, you could earn more money!!! Because you are part of this "majority".

And once again - thank god that some people, like galileo galilei, didn't care that the majority thought the other way.
And in contradiction to users here who favour changes that will improve their standing in the game, or at least will not deteriorate, there it was just about facts.

Stupid, inane thing to say.

Fact champ, "smaller nations" (you know: the ones we're talking about in this thread?) don't have active, peopled divisions lower than div II.
Perhaps explore what others are saying, and maybe - JUST maybe - make an effort to understand what they're saying before blithely dismissing everyone else... oh, and actually make an attempt to comprehend the topic being discussed before inserting yourself into it.
