Eh, fuck Goodell. Dude will have to deal with one pissed off manager if I lose the Cup game on Thursday. Already cost me 2 games, don't want to make it 3 in a row.

Liberty and Power put more into this game than King Drive Ballers

did not expect that ahead of a tough cup game against a free swinging CT'er like Bruins. was sweating it out the whole game too.

You're kidding right? So should I expect a CT then? For a team that had an edge for overall HCA in the playoffs and a good shot at promotion, I wouldn't have thought you'd risk it just to get an extra 70k in Cup money.

He might have thought you'd save a guy or two for the cup and he could have stolen the away game. He's definitely on my watch list after pushing me to OT. If he manages to win this Cup game, he's a threat for the whole thing.

Haha, no. I'm not retarded (or Knicktardeder?) enough to CT. Especially in a Cup game, that's a waste of enthusiasm. I can't remember the last time I CT'd someone, I just personally think it's a dumbass move. I get it though though man, you're probably thinking, "who the hell is this inferior douchebag thinking he can beat me". I'm not expecting to win this upcoming game against you, especially considering you're home, but I'm enough of a narcissistic douchebag to believe I'll be fine come playoffs.

Anyways, the reasoning behind why I do want to win this game though is that this is a crucial week for me. Not only did I just have a home game but I have another one Saturday - and since I get 320k per home game, I'll be netting 640k this week. Hopefully some idiot buys my 8k guard for the TL price of 375k. Lastly, this would be the farthest I'd care for going in the Cup because that extra 70k would just be extra free cash to use on what my intentions are to do Sunday... expand the shit out of my arena so I can sustain a more expensive roster, get more cash flow, and help get my seating closer to the average NBBA teams arena size.

Could have, but any scouting would have seen im in a tight race to avoid relegation and have a dIII team at home in the cup.

If he manages to win this Cup game, he's a threat for the whole thing.

For sure, the reason I threw the best team i could field (with some training considerations) at home was i expected it to be close on equal effort. His ID and REB were so effective i thought he was pulling off a successful 2-3.

The difference between the 7th seed and the 2nd seed is practically nothing. Among those seeds, somehow the 2nd seed also has the 2nd worst PD. It's completely bizarre. I'm wondering if a team desperate to get out of the relegation series, somehow stumbles their way into HCA in round 1 of the playoffs.

Compare that to the other conference, and we see the Top 2 teams with a huge PD lead that will grow as the Cup continues. Visionaries could easily be a playoff threat, but he's too busy trying to throw games (and failing at it) for a Cup run.

Ah, I see you've met his acquaintence. I was in II.4 with him for 3 seasons and their was a constant random early season CT. Some poor soul in his conference knew they could be a victim of a random CT, thank god I wasn't subject to that.

Especially in a Cup game, that's a waste of enthusiasm. I can't remember the last time I CT'd someone, I just personally think it's a dumbass move. Something like that. From the looks of it, your toughest competition for promotion is in your own conference. But HCA in the Finals doesn't hurt.

Anyways, the reasoning behind why I do want to win this game though is that this is a crucial week for me. Definitely looks like you need to, you're consistently selling out in 3 areas, so by not expanding you've alread lost out on some possible ticket revenue.

the only thing thats assured is i can't get the 1st or 8th seed, which is crazy at this point in the season. I'd hate to have to prioritize a league game over a cup game at this point as well. Didn't help myself with the accidental walkover.

That's always been a nightmare of mine. That and an accidental CT. As a result I've always gone super OCD and double, triple, and quadruple checked the lineup to make sure everything's set right.
