25 pops?

thats almost an average of 2 pops a week... not very credible.

and concerning aussie's, they are social people ( been their already, and i am dying to go back :D)

You should definitely come back, australia is awesome :P Average of 2 pops a week given high sublevels! That means that you are gauranteed 8 easy pops, plus if you have a really short 18 year old trainee with a level 5 (or 6 or 7) trainer you can easily get an addition 20 pops using one-on-one training.

I said 8, but I meant 10 ( as there are 10 main skills). So if all of those were on high sublevels, then training something like one-on-one would give you 6 pops straight up (Can't remember what it trains). The train Inside Defence and you would get another 4 or 5 pops. I think you underestimate how fast one-on-one train withs a high level trainer, optimum height and optimum age.

Just to illustrate your point, my 20 year old Center trainee (U21 NT) has popped in guard skills 11 times this season, though he is 6'8.

euhm,

one note tho:

training a whole season on one on one isn't a good idea, and you won't get those ammount of pops. the longer you train the same type of training, the more it is slowed down. the explanantion for this is simple.

if you start traiing Pressure on PG with a guard that has lvl 5 OD, and lvl 8 on all the rest of his guard skills, then he'll start popping at a nice rate. tho, once that Pg hit lvl 9, his Od will be higher than the other skills. and that will mean that the other skills are 'slowing down' his training, because they are lower.

so basically, you need to change your training every 2/3 weeks. that way, you'll get more alround players for your position. jsut to give an example for a C:

2 weeks of IS training, followed by 2 weeks of Id, followed by 2 weeks of rebounding, then IS 2 weeks, ID, 2 weeks, Reb 2 weeks, ... ( and throw in every now and then a SB training too, to help the shotblocking get up. otherwise, it will slow down the training of the other skills)

their is much more to training than just getting the player 48+ minutes and puttig him in the right position.

ps: i still don't know of any 18 year old that was trained a full season on DR...
