Well, I think that's the right choice. Will it be the same way for plyout too?

So a fourth place playoff team has the possibilty of getting revenue from one match if they make the finals and thats it throughout the corse of the playoffs? Thats the only advantage financially over the fifth place team monetarily? Am I understanding that correctly?

In re-reading this post and talking it over with some others. I think that you meant a team that achieves 4th place and then loses their first game of the playoffs only gets the maximum of 2/3 of revenue from one game (minimum 1/3).
The others I was talking to said that in Hattrick in a similar situation the 4th team gets a prize which is a significant amount of money (unlike 2/3 of revenue).

I have mixed feelings about this. If a player makes it to the playoffs and then loses their first game them I would expect that they would get something for 4th place.
However with the current amount of revenue being received by teams - especially in the top divisions being quite significant - I think inflation of the BB$ is rising significantly and more money should not be put into the market until it settles down a bit more.

Thanks for the answers everyone. Actually, I didn't understand that the playoff money was split between the two teams. I couldn't find it in the rules anywhere (probably just missed it) and I thought that the home team got 100% of the revenue for the game, meaning a fourth place team who made it to the finals - even winning the playoffs - would only get revenue from one game. Thank you all for clearing up my misunderstanding!

Technically, it's finishing 4th in your division..... in reality, you are finishing 5-8th as there are 4 losers in the first round. You are also losing out on 1 game compared to everyone else (unless the 6/7 loser is a 1 and done deal too). That result in the loss of training makes me bummed

Training Stamina or Free Throws that week mitigates that.

Without getting into my training philosophy - fair enough
To understand what you are saying, Team training doesn't need players to reach 48 minutes for it to be optimal?

Yes, I believe stamina or free throws doesn't require guys to get minutes to receive training.

Also, I know there was mention of non-playoff teams getting scrimmages to make up for the lack of games, have the BBs talked about this any more?
