Sounds like defense, 1v1, passing and a little bit of rebounding. Maybe some inside shot/inside defense on his guards?

And, of course, shot blocking on the way to legendary.

Just like in real life, defense wins games.

I agree that the best skills in his team is by far OD, ID, IS and SB. He does not seem to train anything else... maybe DR. I also believe that he is full in enthusiasm. If he trains his team only in defense... I hate to think what will happen when he starts training offensive skills!!!!

his JS/JR is low b/c it raises salary.
guards have high driving/handling skills.
whole team (esp. big men) have good passing.
shot blocking raises salary, i doubt his big men have above respectable sb.
guards score inside by driving to the net, instead of taking jump shots & 3 pters.
and rebounding is a whole team thing. so, guards have respectable rebounding and big men dont have too much rebounding (raises salary)

these are all assumptions but I have personally transformed my team from having the highest salary in my league in allstar weekend (and losing 4 games) to having a below-average salary after allstar weekend (and losing 0 games).

the main thing i look at is not keeping js/jr low but instead keeping dr/ha high & PASSING + REBOUNDING being a whole team thing. I dont buy any guards who have lower than 6 rebounding or 8 passing. I dont buy any big men who have lower than 7 passing.

If you add stamina to all the above... I believe you have a pretty good explanation!!

That's true. I had a guy with Proficient Stamina and now I have a guy with Pitiful Stamina. First one played around 35-40 minutes/game with hardly any drop in qualitiy of his game. The other is also playing very good...for appr. 25-28 minutes/game. So for his backup, I have to have a quality guy because he will play at least 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, I had a bum as a backup for the first guy because he had to play only 5-10 minutes per game. So training Stamina is also a means to reduce salaries.
