If we are talking about best point guard we can not talk about wage, Ithink handling it is important and has effect in a number of ways, i vaguely remember charles talking in a training thread a long time a go saying that in training, as in the rest of the game driving-handling are strongly connected.

Still its a skill you dont want to max but in a "best pg" context, or NT level you dont want a 14 handling pointguard. I think over 16 would be fine and every level helps.

How about this guy...
Jump Shot: wondrous Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: phenomenal Handling: phenomenal
Driving: stupendous Passing: legendary(buzzermanager has it at 22)
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: proficient
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: average Free Throw: average

Yeah I know...his salary is 317K a week...but he is a baller

Hes arguably the best PG for a LI but here were talking about best pg so there could be more than one answers.
If you envision youre best PG being a LI pg than yes
If youre dream PG i Scorer and creator than it's a whole different story
If youre dream PG is deffender and distributor than other.
Thats the great thing about the game that there are many ways you can play it ,but definitely OD 14 HN 14 PS 14 is the base from where you've need build on .

I've seen people posting only taking in account only the guard skills but as we are talking about the best PG i would add some inside skills as for me the best PG should have at least a triple-double a season if not more.
I'm training a PG right now but because of his superstar potential i don't see the relevance of his guard skills in this thread but as far as his inside skills i managed to get him to IS:10, ID:11 and Reb:9.
As far as guard skills in would go for JS:15-16, JR:12-13, OD:17, Handling and Driving 15-16 and Passing 17.
I like all-around players more than one offence oriented guys.

Ok, in the match i played tonight my sub PG with Rebounding: average had 7 rebounds as oposed to my SG with Rebounding: awful that got 1 rebound.
Played man 2 man defence and both players are about the same form.
For me it counts.

I have gotten a 19.0 out of him and he has had a 19.5 for the NT team....but yeah...his ratings are not that good for a 300K PG.

i would guess low enthusiam at that point, at least that gives usually bad rating.

But i like them to have more shooting then him.

Place him in a cup game, train JS up to liek 17,and play Patient at PF. I've done that a few times and have scored 40+ many times. I have played a PG in PF position and played Patient, and BOOM! 40-80 pts from what i have learned and seen.
