The last line is not exact true in all cases. becuase if the pg is a good shooter as well as a passer, he'll get the ball to the inside if the pf , center is good or he will create own shot, you really wont need any outside shooting in paitence offense, its a smart offence. Keep in mind alot of guards dont have any high interior defense. This is where pg or sg sf is going drive on him and make a nightmare of passing the ball to the key player at the night time to score or make a spot up mid rang jump shot no tlong range, unless they the opp lacks it or its open. Big men with good passing work equally as well , if they can create their own shot it becomes a night mare to stop. It becomes a game of pick your poision.

I run paitient all the time , but a good defense for it is man-man or (3-2) if you have the players. Also with good game shape of the players its like look inside its really hard to stop, all you can do but hope the team overall defense pitches in some how. To stop P offence it have come from team balance offence/defence and getting a few key stop at certain times in games.

That how i usally lost in running it versus the human when they where around. But keep in mind i have beaten them as well in the national cup. :)

I miss read his post. and mis spoke to quickly. Ill like to sorry the manager who posted his is correct. :)

Also on your point. I think od will work versus p-offense i think a high inside defense is what kill paitent. I feel the pg or whom ever is going break that outside defense also if the bench is lined with the right typeof scorers. I dont see how other them could stop it. Paintence is not just a team exploiting weakness tatic but player versus players exploiting weakness tactic... which wa spoint i wa smaking in od wont save a player one on one versus a surpreme scorer in P-O

zone 3-2,1-3-1 become stronger against slow tempo of tactics.Opponent slow tempo of tactic give you more opportunity to steal the ball. But there is another tactic...it's even more effective to steal the ball. That is full-court press.Try it...you will not regret

But your players need high stamina and OD to have a chance to do well with it. I wouldn't recommend FCP unless you are a highly superior team.

Ofcourse...every tactic has specific conditions: 3-2,1-3-1-high OD on SF,PF even C bucause of that is more usefull for lower legue and so on.....but no matter that FCP will steal more balls than other tactics (almost always) if you play with the same teams against slow tempo of tactics.
I wouldn't recommend FCP at start of the season (game shape)

I dont really see your point with your beast having high rebounding, In what way do you meen it is good?

And thanks Manon for opening my eyes to patient.

I actually do think this will be my next big tactic, letting me keep Song, my beast player.

But what level of passing will be needed on the other players? Obviously 2 players (PG/SG in offence) with as high passing as possible, one of them with high OD and one with high ID (for m2m defence). Then 1 player with high ID and OD for defence SF, but what level of passing for offence? Do you think 7-8 is enough (its much easier and cheaper finding level 7 ones of course.)
And then 1 player with good IS (as a counter to 3-2), ID and RB, but what level of passing? Again, is 7 enough?

The last player of course beeing the beast player, moving around in offence on all positions(?), or should one avoid for example C, because they take fewer shots from outside?
