Magics final hope at a another title in 91 (Magic got MVP that season and only 5 rings)
Clyde the Glide with the Blazers in 92 (Drexler eventually got his ring with Houston)
Sir Charles and Mayor Kevin Johnson with the Suns in 93
Shawn Kemp and The glove with the Sonics in 96 (Gary Payton eventually got his ring with Miami).
John Stockton and The Mailman with the Jazz in 97 and 98.

i came from that division, so did matt from Geelong Vipers

ezy has followed the same lineup solution ever since ive been playing this game.

Voijan + weiping + another good player, plus rubbish.

its never worked. as i pointed out to him in the league forum, NO ONE since... well a long time, has promoted out of that league without having a team of guys who have ratings above 10.0.

thats the problem with his team. always has.

this season he lost by 2 points 2222222222 with his 2nd best player Gorbói a $80c injured 1 minute into the game u think he loses with Gorbói playng give me a break

last season he loses vthrush a $110k big man 13 mins into g1 of the finals & then loses the xfaxtor $160k big man 22 mins into g3 u say there is any chance he loses with both of them???

season b4 he lost 2 Foenix Suns who then got banned 4 cheating

well a bit of gossip for you all - ex Div III.15 champion Foenix Suns was banned a few weeks ago for cheating. him and his brother....dunno what they did or how often they did it, but hopefully he wasnt doing it whilst he won his championship last season.

dont know what else happened but it is hard 2 beat a cheater

season be4 he got knocked out in a major upset by The John Dooleys guess what? 2 minutes in his best player xfaxtor gets injured out & he loses

& i said i wouldnt build a miami-like team like him that relies on just a couple of guys

but i dont like peeps coming here & saying he lost cause his team wasnt good enough cause it just isnt true he has been murdered by injuries

if lebron got injured out of the finals 2 minutes in each of the last 3 seasons would we all be saying miami is a bad team?

I feel like you are almost agreeing with us lol. He builds teams who are powerhouse but because he ties so much salary up in 1 or 2 players he lacks the cover. I will admit the season he lost both viojan and weipeng is unlucky. But then you have to think, maybe he should have learnt from the mistake of no cover after the initial season with injury.

I love ezy bit he should not still be in that division regardless of injuries

Yes I should not be in this division.......... I bided my time trained some guns while stronger teams were here... then made my run with what I thought was a winning formula due to the LI advantage my killer bigs would have so offence from my guards was not really needed, I would be out of div 3 if I had not had injuries that cannot be forseen or planned for... So I have missed my window.... I will get some trainees reload and have another crack when I am ready. Be warned I will be better than ever

yer your right. no rose = no bulls. No westbrook meant no OCT. And if lebron got injured then yer, Miami will get swept. Miami havent won yet this season though have they.

But Buzzerbeater isnt the NBA.
comparing to the NBA isnt really apples for apples.

with ezy's situation, he is putting X amount of salary into two players. that means putting more eggs into fewer baskets. If he had spread that salary across other players, he would have had a more balanced team. it means two thinsg
a) Player X getting injured means that less of an impact to the team
b) Player Y who has that compensated salary, is more capable of covering.

If we use his recent loss as an example, his second best player gets injured in the first minute, and yet he only loses by 2 points. So that guy had no impact to the game. If that player had, $10k-$20k LESS in salary, and that was invested into another player who DID play in the game, then he would have won.
yer ok i know its not the GF game, but my point is still valid.

its division III - going from a $15k SF to $30k SF is huge. Its like going from a $100k SG to a $170 SG in ABBL. SO he doesn't have to spread the load much. just tweak the balance a bit.
