You're missing my point here: there are thousands of players in D.4 and below and only a very small number (50?) have NT players in their roster, whom they can't afford for longer than a week. If you think they are cheating: find a way to prove it. Farming is not forbidden and it shouldn't be.

You don't have to implement new rules to prevent cheating. Cheating is forbidden already.

My point had nothing to do with cheating.

Why shouldn't farming be forbidden?

Because not every farm is a cheater, it's as easy as that.

A lot of guys, like e.g. labude, achieved everything they wanted in this game. So after that they decide to buy a bunch of young guys and train them as they want. Is that cheating? It might result in farming, if his players are good enough to get into any NT.

If a guy just doesn't want to compete but train a bunch of his own draftees for himself because he wants to have a team consisting only of his players - is that cheating? E.g. Scott Broszeit got trained in Div.4 till he became a NT player for Germany. His owner had to sell him some time ago because he couldn't afford him any more. Does that make him a farm or not? A lot of NT players have their roots in Div. 4...

If a player doesn't want to compete anymore but has a lot of money and wants to help any NT by training and farming an NT-player? Why do you want to forbid it?

As you say: if a farm is a multiaccount it's already forbidden, because that's cheating. If you hate cheating: help the GMs catch cheaters.

If you want to punish people for not trying to win, punish giving away games:

Especially in top leagues usually max. 3 teams compete for the league title, all the, 2 teams tank, the rest gives away one game a week to stay in the cup. That's competition...

That's not considered cheating, so why should it be forbidden if someone wants to concetrate on training not winning in a lower league?

I'm with you with multi-accounts: ban than as you see them. But you don't have to fobid everything to get the cheaters. You'll always hurt regular players.

I agree some more penalties should be in place for people throwing away games..

How? We all know that keeping high gameshape is impossible if you start anyone 3 games a week so managers have no choice but to play a weaker lineup 1 game per week. If you have a tough cup match, that game ususally ends up being a league game. And obviously we can't choose a specific # of minutes for each player to see the court each game so spreading the minutes across 3 games isn't possible either.

It's not the managers that are choosing to throw games, it's the way the game engine is set up that his dictated that choice.

it is stupid to get anything but 1st place while paying anything more than the salary floor...this is an income structure problem. You can't hardly stay even when in 2nd~ place...in 1st place you are making about 20% more each week (or more) than the guy right behind you. This is why tanking is so prevelant IMO.

If this was true, than the same teams would win leagues every year. I don't think it's always that tankers win leagues. Maybe sometimes, but they need to tank for a long time for that.

I see you won your league in season 20, why haven't you continued winning? Don't tell me tankers acquired some players from farm teams in micronations LOL
