The case that matters is the case of the one that asks the question, which not everyone realizes ;)

I understand that but for a new trainer they can be expecting to turn every SS or MVP player they draft into a NT player.

However, by the same reasoning, you shouldn't discourage a novice player from training a NT star.

If someone is a newbie, doesn't mean he's stupid LOL For example, when I first started playing the game a got a nice MVP, whom I started loving and training. I went to help forums quickly and people gave me good advices. I started training secondary skills right off the bat. I also had help from Atlas1 and few other people, whom I mailed at regular basis.

So it's not like I would destroy my trainee, I was actually on a good path to train him properly, thanks to advices from more experienced managers. Unfortunately my team got banned after a season or two, I don't remember.

As you can see, pointing a newbie into particular path or learning curve may not be the best for him. In this case a newbie might get enamored with the game, if he has someone to train, or get bored quickly, if he gets pushed into tanking/arena building mode.

An overwhelming majority of new players are entirely ignorant and stupid. They will most of the time train not give a NT prospect the most efficient training needed. They would do more good to their national team by selling their HOF+ prospect to a more experienced manager.

With there be exceptions to the rule? Of course, but that is not a really strong argument because there are exceptions to every rule.

I would rather see a new player train a couple starter/star potential players that they could finish training relatively quickly. It's also less likely that bad training resulting in wasting a player's potential. They would get more immediate gratification when they are finished training lower potential players in a couple of seasons. These are players that would be key players for a new team for many seasons in the lower division and backups as the team begins to promote. After they finish training 3 starter/star potential players, they can have a go at training a new set of higher potential players.

A new manager that starts training an 18 year old to a top level NT next season will have to wait until the end of 2017 to finish training that player. I think my option is better to getting new players more involved and attached to the game.

I like the way you think... But, i started with superstar player(25208949) and trained him till he got 21 yo (55k wage). He won me promotion. Then i slod him, got money in arena and draft. Got one player from TL, one Hof, Mvp , new (better) roster... Hof is now 21 yo. One of the best in generation. Im just w8-ing for next season to try and promote...

For scouting... Just plan it well, if you want best of the best, you have to invest... If you plan to get one, best way is to get 5k/10k per week, but you will have to w8 2 seasons at lesat and plan your position in league...
I personaly prefer to tain 2 players or just one, so i can add tainring to the rest of the team...
