Of course we'll do it gently. It's not going to break anyone's bank and it's not going to push players into their potential cap. This is the only way to make this work that makes sense.
I'm sure you taking the time to clarify this so decidedly will go a long way to reassure people.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just make IS raise the salary for SF position? That way, all those PG/SG players with really high IS+OD+JS would became SF's and their salary would automatically increase.

What will this changes to do the potential cap? We already have 7 skills that are raising the salary for a PG position (JS, JR, OD, HA, DR, PA and RB). If IS and ID start raising the salary as well...than only SB would be free? All 6 outside skills are free to train for C, and 5 are free for PF's (just JS raises the salary). So in theory you could make an MVP center with 150+ skills: (http://i.imgur.com/iUm4hFL.png)

It's already hard to make a 140 skill point PG/SG, from an MVP potential. It usually requires a really low RB. But if IS and ID raise the salary as well, than even 135 could be impossible to train. There needs to be a balance here. I don't want my MVP trainee to hit his cap at the age of 27.

Not to worry, we are not just adding to the players salary, we are shuffling things (skill weights) around, adding some while decreasing others. It just makes sense to update these formulas to better reflect today's BB situation. The fact that centers and power forwards also don't pay for their secondaries should also be re-evaluated (as I hinted in the last sentence of the first part of the newspost, that was, to tell you the truth, added half a day later).

Actually, don't worry, your salaries won't skyrocket, I can assure you of that. You might even get a discount on the whole because your high secondary players will be balanced out by the not-so-great secondary players salary drops.

It was said before that starting next season, NT managers could be dropped if their vote is below x%, but there is nothing in the new season post about this.
