My post wasn't to be an attack, only an ascertainment...

For sure players with higher salaries are stronger than other with lower salaries..no doubt..

But I don't want to argue or to attack anybody, so from now I will only answer the questions that SA players make.

Greetings.
Marco.

Now a message to Rambo, man your fine with words, i'll give you that, are you a politician in real life?

About that training strategy the thing is i dont know how many users will change their training schedule just to train a player from SA i hope that happens but i sure doubt that. You can agree with me that no one will like someone to tell what to with his own team that's for sure. But anyway tell us more about that i for one am interested in hearing more.
Tom

Aha, it's not that easy my friend! Maybe if one of us gets elected we can team up and learn from each other's ideas but not before.

I agree that few will change the training of their team just to benefit SA but I think if we can get SA players on SA teams there would be more incentive. Even if this means paying a little more for players or searching out players to buy back.

There was a South African NT match on Monday:

(1491)

Care to comment? Without knowing the players skills, but having some knowledge of the game, how would you have played it?

I find it interesting that the only people commenting in this thread are the ones running (not counting me). Have all the teams made up their minds? Election ends on Wednesday.

i will be the first to comment :)
1. Great anticipation tactic from you is my first observation but as you can see and i've already said that before we lack C/PF badly so our inside defence was no mach for their inside offence...using SF instead of C/PG its not the best option..
2. Did u played take it easy? Or mybe he did CT.. I personaly watched all the game and in the first period of time i thought we can really get them. I think there was a clear difference between our level of players and theirs but last night it wasn't that obvious.
In the startup team i believe we have players with good ball handling if i'm not mistaken you could have gone with FCP because they had good inside shooters, but then again that would make our players to get their ball before the germans got the chance to shoot - they kinda made most of their inside shots. This also makes me wonder and i can put money on the fact that they have C and PF with great of inside shot skill but not so much as inside defence since their inside defence wasnt that great so if we had good inside players you could have tried inside focus yourself but sadly we don't :(
3. I honestly think if we had played normal or CT as they did the score could have been in our balance.

I'm actually not sure I understand why you schemes you chose. From what I could tell of Germany, they generally don't play a down low, around the basket game so 2-3 doesn't make a ton of sense. Even though their 4 highest paid players are centers, they seem to get most of their points from the other positions. Obviously it turned out to be 100% the right call, but I think I would have gone for more of a balance defense, which might well have been an incorrect choice. It appears as if you took it easy because there is no way they would have Crunch Timed us, I agree with this choice because it is doubtful we would have beaten a top 5 team so it is better to increase enthusiasm. As for the offense, it appears our best players are more guards than forwards so Motion makes sense. I may have gone with something like Push the Ball or Run and Gun because if I am going to take it easy, I think I may have a better chance to win by outrunning and outgunning the other team then by playing at a normal pace. I would also have a chance of getting blown out, but with the take it easy approach I think it was worth the gamble.

It appears Dlight is caught up on the effort level but I think it was a good choice taking it easy in a basically unwinnable scrimmage.

Perhaps you can offer your reasoning?

FWIW, both teams played normal. I'm told the game report was buggy and showed Germany played harder. You can't play CT or TIE in scrimmages, not even NT games.

Honestly, looking back at it, I don't think I intended to play 2-3 zone. Either another bug or a simple mistake on my part. Obviously, we have to make shots to have success, and on this day, the shots didn't fall. Ourguards are our strength now, so you have to go with that.

All of this is moot now, though, as Dlight (Tom) has won the election. Congrats, Tom, and if I can be of any assistance, I'm at your disposal.

i thought it might be a bug too the one with enthusiasm because the NT enthusiasm resets when the elections are over..
Anyway i want to thanks all for their votes, and i realise that the easy part has gone now the hard part comes. I will imediately send mails to all active users from SA and the current users that have players in the NT pool asking for their plans and maybe give them some guidance. I will post a new topic with the level of requirements for SA NT players. My first concern is we dont have enough C/PF so i'm going to ask around if we can do something about it.
And the last thing for now is to build a team of active users that are going to help me with scouting new players for NT and which could give me helpfull advices in training and tactics, im already thinking Luanda, Fooly, Boss and Dreamfire(btw Dream whats with your team?). Also in this team i would like to have gerrtv and maybe some of the candidates that took place in the election.
This is all for now thanks all for support and i will do my best,
Dlight(Tom)

i saw the game we had with germany, a good game but i dont think we can compare with the top 10 countrys yet...not just yet guys only train one position there so its difficult to catch up...but not imposible.
Hey we got the new NT manager so lets see were this goes ;)
If there's anything i can do for the South Africa i will so tell me :)
