Yep, about 1.5-2 CP per season, per player in the early stages for me too. Sounds about right.

3 of them in SB/RB
Out of the total number of cross-pops or per player?

BBB: 2 (S37 S38); Top tier: 7 (S35 S36 S37 S38 S39 S41 S63); Cup: 9 (S25 S35 S36 S37 S38 S39 S40 S41 S61)

you are right about SB my bad, in the end it is all a matter of perspective and available choices. Greece has many users compared to other countries, so in the big picture I agree with you about the gym because I dont know how the game is played in a "small" or "medium" size country in terms of users

Which makes me think, the Gym really is useless? I mean if you're an older team or you have tanked some seasons on hardcore then yeah it MAY be worth it, but

1M initial investment + 15k each week for 6 season equals
1M initial investment + 1,35M weekly maintenance for 6 seasons equals
2,35M invested for 8 pops each player in 6 seasons, that's paying 261.1k for each crosstraining pop for your utopian team
Of course if it's 2 players a season you halve the cost to 130.5k each pop, which is still a lot of money

for your greek team
1M initial investment + 15k each week for 4 seasons equals
1M + 900k = 1,9M
1,9M invested for 9 pops equals 211.k for each crosstraining pop in an individual player
105.5k for each crosstraining pop in 2 players

Which to me is still a lot of money just for SB/RB pops...

Question : Why not buy a player with a decent level let's say mediocre in RB or SB and then just spend 8 weeks from 18y to 21y on these skills to achieve the same effect?
With how trainers are nowadays you will still be able to finish this player training until 28y/29y and you'll have an extra 2M+ to invest in many more important things

As Phoenix said, the initial investment cost is 500k, when training is finished I will take back 500k. The total cost till now is 500k + 1,35M = 1.85M for 25 CT pops, 74k per CT pop. But without a gym I could also have 5-6 CT pops, nobody knows how many exactly. It is not easy to measure the cost of each CT pop because we dont know exactly what the gym gives.

Which to me is still a lot of money just for SB/RB pops...

I had 3/25 SB pops in Utopia and 3/18 RB pops in my greek team, so it is not just SB-RB pops. To be precise, in Utopia

JS 1
JR 4
OD 2
HA -
DR -
PS 6
IS 2
ID 3
RB 4
SB 3

In my greek team

JS 1
JR 3
OD 1
HA -
DR 1
PS 6
IS -
ID 2
RB 3
SB 1

I trained a lot of 1on1 Fws, that can explain why I had not pops in HA-DR. But as you can see, the CT pops are pretty balanced.

It depends on your goals. My goal is to build 155+TSP players asap. Not just for the greek NT, it is also for me. I want to win more titles and compete for the BBB. To be competitive at that level you need some unique players which are really expensive to buy. My trainees will be good enough to win titles at the age of 26, that gives me more time to take more trophies!

Do you count as CT pops if they improve inside shot or jump shot in 1 on 1 forwards training?

No, I know that 1on1 Fws trains JS and IS. These CT pops came with pass and pressure training

So, after reading this thread in its entirety, my question is, for my PG and SG, is any training in the Big attributes, IS, ID, RB and SB, kind of considered a waste? I have a couple 6'4" guards who I was considering trading in IS or ID. But I imagine if I pop in those I'll eventually get pops in rebounds too. Is that considered an overall loss for guards? I also have an inside oriented team, I play a lot of inside offenses, so I thought why not train my guards in a little inside skills? After reading this thread I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe I should just keep on focusing on guard skills? Thoughts? Thanks.
