Yep, about 1.5-2 CP per season, per player in the early stages for me too. Sounds about right.

3 of them in SB/RB
Out of the total number of cross-pops or per player?

Which makes me think, the Gym really is useless? I mean if you're an older team or you have tanked some seasons on hardcore then yeah it MAY be worth it, but

1M initial investment + 15k each week for 6 season equals
1M initial investment + 1,35M weekly maintenance for 6 seasons equals
2,35M invested for 8 pops each player in 6 seasons, that's paying 261.1k for each crosstraining pop for your utopian team
Of course if it's 2 players a season you halve the cost to 130.5k each pop, which is still a lot of money

for your greek team
1M initial investment + 15k each week for 4 seasons equals
1M + 900k = 1,9M
1,9M invested for 9 pops equals 211.k for each crosstraining pop in an individual player
105.5k for each crosstraining pop in 2 players

Which to me is still a lot of money just for SB/RB pops...

Question : Why not buy a player with a decent level let's say mediocre in RB or SB and then just spend 8 weeks from 18y to 21y on these skills to achieve the same effect?
With how trainers are nowadays you will still be able to finish this player training until 28y/29y and you'll have an extra 2M+ to invest in many more important things

So, after reading this thread in its entirety, my question is, for my PG and SG, is any training in the Big attributes, IS, ID, RB and SB, kind of considered a waste? I have a couple 6'4" guards who I was considering trading in IS or ID. But I imagine if I pop in those I'll eventually get pops in rebounds too. Is that considered an overall loss for guards? I also have an inside oriented team, I play a lot of inside offenses, so I thought why not train my guards in a little inside skills? After reading this thread I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe I should just keep on focusing on guard skills? Thoughts? Thanks.
