I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed seeing your win. :)

The 4M arena is a game changer. I have the largest salary by 100k and I'm still coming out even each week since I'm winning BBM and Cup. I'll shed my $80k guard after my Saturday game and will be profitable again by next reset.

I guess if you keep winning that will give you home court advantage....unless I buy up your player and win the conference...lol

I may have highest Salary in the league now.
Player Salaries: $ 336 972

I think I'm almost done with this game.... been grinding since season 12. Its just not fun losing boat loads of $$ and tanking for $$ only to keep drudging in the same D3 league. I dont want to drop to D4 to go to another D3 league, but this is getting really old. Not fun.......

Tanking while only training isn't fun.

Dropping down leagues to move up isn't fun.

The worst Draft Process in game history is not fun.

Having to lose money every week just to get out ANY level division is not fun.

Selling players that used to command top $$ for pennies on the $$ is not fun.

Buying good players that were trained well for well above their worth is not fun.

I'm sure you can all add to the list.....

Sounds like my attitude many seasons ago. I started around the same time as you but quit by season 30. So this is my second stint with BB. I've definitely been there with the burnout.

These days with all the infrastructure upgrades and secondary staff available, I think teams need to be doing a lot in order to promote. But at the end of the day it's an economic game. Pull in as much income as possible from ticket sales + arena upgrades. Plus the trainer and youth trainer, consistent game shape, and whatever else you can afford to keep your team rolling.

If you find the grind boring, you can set a goal of getting one of your trainees onto the U21/NT roster. There is an active community on the official Discord server that helps each other out with that.

It just sucks to start over from the beginning if you do decide to quit and come back. I've seen some owners sell their roster and log in once a month just to stay active until they bank $25 million to buy a spot in the NBBA.

for what it's worth, I spent $25k to buy this player (50955656) just after a draft a few seasons ago and now he's on the USA U21 team. He will likely sell next season for $600k+.

I've done it with a few other players over the past few seasons. It is possible to train and compete at the same time.

I am not far behind you at $289,000

I need to buy a younger Center, I have two guards who are aging out....so many pans in the fire right now.....and for what? to lose barely make money, if any, and what I do accumulate I must spend every so often on a new coach.

This league is CRAZY tough. Maybe I ought to sell off my older guys, go down a division and train up some young talent.

I have that much in my account, however if I spend too much and one time then the darn overextension tax kicks in. I HATE that.

agreed. For many seasons I spend 40K a week just so I could get the best draft picks. I would scout all the players as much as possible, put in my draft order and get crap. now I put in zero per week, take what I can get, and spend the extra money on 18 year old MVP players.

and then you see all these BOT teams that draw 18 year old MVPs. just crazy

Yeah, there is defiantly value on the transfer list for trainees, but the draft should be a fun and important part of the game.

I bought an Irish trainee last season and now hes on the Irish JRNT.
