I agree. This salaries are ridiculous and there is no team in the world, not even a main league one that can maintain players with 70k a week. From what I know, from each championship match an average main league team gets 300k. That's almost one third of the income. How can that be? Feels like they are the team itself.
My BP went from a 5k weekly salary to almost 10k! I feel a bit outraged, despite knowing that it is nothing comparing to 70k's. But I'm a IV team.
I think in the future this will create a step back on training players, most teams just will leave them to rot before they salaries get too high. Besides, if only main league teams can afford players like these, low league team won't be able to advance. At least, that's the way I feel, but I already spoke my mind on this issue on previous occasions.

Or just train more efficiently. It has already been said that multi-skilled players will have lower salaries. So go that route. If a player starts to be unaffordable, sell him and improve your team in other areas.

By the way - I don't think one 70k player would bankrupt a division I team. Having 5 starters with that salary is another story. I personally would go for more balance than one star but other teams feel differently.

Last thing - 10k for a player is peanuts given that you get TV game revenue 3 times a season and playoff revenue. I know finances are tough at the beginning but eventually things will change for you.

I don't base my entire finance on the winnings of a TV game. A solid grow can't be made on the exception. I base my team's finance on the winnings of the average game. That said, I only go on the green 10k per week. The exception should only matter as damage control, in case of any deal goes wrong or, if comfortable, to re-enforce the team. And if I didn't thought that way, last season would've been my first and last. Really spared me a great pain in the ass.

The only reason that 'multiskilled' players are having lower salaries is because their skills are lower. Since centers are mostly trained in 3 or 4 skills, those skills will be higher because you will train less skills.
Salary increases way more at higher skills than at lower skills.
Guards are trained in more skills, which makes their skill level lower, that's why the salary is lower atm.

as much as i know

bb charles told me that, the reason why having multi skilled players have lower salaries is not that because they are low but because they want it also to have a good balance of skills in players.

its a way of encouraging you to develop players with not just one skills or 2, and i feel the GE also tends to run diiferently for a multi skilled player as the game goes along.

i dont think stamina could be a factor for salary increase, but free throws has but isnt that as normal skills do.

also i notice of all players, sf is the most dynamic player one should have in terms of skills, he has to have the flexibility to perform at best whether inside and outside in defense or offense.

just as like he could be a awesome penetrator but has a decent jumpshot, of all it also depends on the offense your employing but i think he also has to have rebounds and blocks to go with his defense to really be effective.

its juts me
