You can't compare two different teams with different records, so different win/loss streaks, maybe different PR Managers, maybe even in different leagues.
Then the arena income will also be different ;)

Right now many teams still use prices at the top of the price range. I don't think that's the way to make the most profit.

It would be interesting to know the real numbers i.e a formula where you can see at what price and what amount of seats is the most profitable, but it's really hard since especially the amound of sold bleachers are fluctating a lot.

I just don't think smaller arenas combined with higher prices is the key, I'd rather say bigger arenas and average/ slightly below average prices.

Starbucks coffee is the 5th largest known arena in the BB world. There are 27,239 bleacher seats which sell for $11 a piece for a total of $249,629.

The Gachai Municipal Buffalo Rodeo Arena has 21,000 seats at $16 for a total of $336,000.

but team one, has to low entry prices, so that he sells all ticket with this price and probadly with 12 too ;)

More seats less prices is normally more income if you make it right.

This is an example of your theory being exactly wrong. If he raised them a dollar he would still have less than $280,000.

The difference between the two teams in the example is negligible.

I don't think there is a right or wrong. As long as you keep in the black and have a good time, the formula for seats to price ratio allows for a wide range of strategies.

and probadly he will be too seld out ;)

if you compare similiar succesfull teams, with different prices who doesn't sell out, it will become very difficult to find a example which shown your right.

To argue with selled out ticket isn't very informative, because sold out games, usually waste money.

Maybe you should compare my VIp logues with them from the tall blacks, at least the vip lounges are pretty equal to the succes.

look at the quarter final here, thats possible with 12$ prices and even less succes then your example:

and now count again ;)

I made a post about Buzzerbeater Arenas at my blog. This is probably the last season when we can see arenas with such capacity so it is the best time to make such list. So thanks for the list and good luck:]

Congrats.

Now can you be patient enough to wait a season before tearing down 20,000 and then heading over to the transfer market!!

I bet you are hoping for a continuation of the current deflation :D

We still don't know what size is going to be too big. Maybe 40000 is the cap. Maybe 16000. It will be interesting to see.

Also, do you think that with the removal of free agents from the TL that player values will continue to fall? I'm not a big player on the TL, so I don't really know where the market stands at the moment, but I'm interested to know what you think the next 16 weeks will bring.
