How did you decide who gets picked for the 3 pt shootout? The same way?

Seems a little funny. My SG, who was the starter for my league, wasn't chosen.

Also, is there a way to communicate with the people in your league? This would be a fun time to do some trash talking, but I can't seem to find such a place (a ht style "series conference", or something?)

How did you decide who gets picked for the 3 pt shootout? The same way?

The choice of the players is most likely based on the number of three point baskets scored during the league season and the percentage of three point shooting of the players.

Example: in my league a guy needed at least 22 three pointers scored on league games and more 36.7% shooting for 3 to qualify for the contest (I checked player by player in the contest). But that will change on each league, depending on how good three-pointers they have. Only 6 can qualify.

The selection to the 3 point contest is completely independent from selection to the All-Star game.

Ex: My player won the 3-point contest but he was on the bench in the all-star game, where he came in for 20 minutes and scored 15 points, 3-4 from downtown. :D

Also, is there a way to communicate with the people in your league? This would be a fun time to do some trash talking, but I can't seem to find such a place (a ht style "series conference", or something?)

Unfortunately not yet. But a new Forums system is been developed as we speak, and hopefully the new forums will have that feature.

my player got tied with another players for the second highest scored points in the 3pt shoot out!

what happen how come there wasnt any contest of elimination which he wasnt included in the final game

what happen? my team is on top in the standings.. . . . ok i didnt start it but i only lose 2 games of all my games. so how come i dont even get a single player on the roster! worst is my back up G got a all star votw while my starters didnt even got a nomination!!!!
