Well my cup run is over. Rested my star SG against Seagulls so he could dominate in my cup game with Patient. 14-46 shooting was subpar. End up losing both games so a very bad week. Forgot to play a 2-3 zone instead of m2m so that might have helped. Oh well back to concentrating on the league.

In other news decent cup draws for the rest of the ABBL. Monkey Business has a div 2 team but the rest have div 3 opponents.

Sorry Aussie Dude but you have good company Baxter and Bell Park join you. Top 32 and only seven ABBL left, with the current economy where even division IV teams can afford to buy top players it is geting harder and harder for the ABBL teams to compete in the cup, I think some of the old time advantages are long gone. Or maybe I am wrong, it has always been easy for a lower division team to have HCA, throw a CT and steal the game if they really want to.

Yes, despite the gaudy salaries of Chubby and the Russian, I consider him to be your best player. Two weeks out is so brutal because it also means a week or two of bad game shape but he will be back in time for the relegation series which you are guaranteed to get thanks to Da Fat Boy Slim.

Yep that guarantees me basically no chance of 5th up thanks to the injury.

I have had a lot of luck the last 2 seasons but I have seriously had zero this season. It's hard to make waves against the big boys when u just can't get a clear run at it!

2 x 2 week injuries to key players
3 x other players injured in the first 10min of games

Anyway my rant over. It's all part of the game and I wouldn't want to face me in relegation.

Big 8

1 Wombats - no-one passing him.
2 Monkey - once cup is over he will zoom back up.
3 Aussie - my old mentor is really showing a lot of power and skill this season.
4 Black Label - yes he is training and his team is messed up but missing the playoffs? Surely not.
5 Bell Park SuperCats - may not be happy but 5th is still the new black and if you can't be 1st or 2nd it is the best position to be money wise.
6 Chumunga - injuries, injuries, injuries. They suck but as long as they don't suck you don to division II it wont matter.
7 Baxter Bogans - purely tanking but grabbing the occasional win. Will they drop like C-Cat for the bounce or spend some of their massive fortune to slaughter whoever?
8 Da Fat Boy Slim - sad day for Aussie BB.

1 Whitebeard - could it be a 22-0 season?
2 Billy Hoyles Boys - looking strong despite having a cup focus.
3 Koopasaurus - their team is much better than their record due to early season mucking around. He is back!
4 Chelsea Seagulls - surprising even myself and could be 9-2 with a better cup run.
5 CROCKERS - may pass Chelsea or may be happy with two free weeks.
6 Guanzheng Goldfish - can't catch CROCKERS and will be passed by Koopasaurus, could be a short stay in the ABBL.
7 WA IS A DUMP - locked into 7th but who knows what he has planned.
8 hopelessly addicted - wants that 1st draft pick. I hope it is a $6k Hof not like the crap I got.

Relegation: Baxter Bogans spend up big and send the Goldfish back into the pool.
Chumunga also spends up big, drops a million on new players...and Bryce Gibbs spends $10,000,000 on new players buying the entire Chinese national team and sweeps tremell in two.

Whoever meets Wombats or Whitebeard in the first round is gone even DireWolf.
Aussie is good but Monkey is better.
Koopasaurus will rent a few Radfords again so he has a couple spare this season and will be too much for Billy Hoyles Boys.

Koops $2,000,000 roster is good but apparently four Radfords and a Rooney just doesn't work and Whitebeard advances.

Id prefer an $8K ATG 17 year old (priority/concession pick) but if worse comes to worse Id settle for a $6K HOF 18 year old
