Hey!!! seems like there is a big BUG in the lineups..... to my last game I've set up my linup and I've checked it three times during this week. the weird thing is... today when I logged in to watch my league game, I've noticed that the lineup is it totally weird, seems like the the starters aren't starters anymore they've became the second guys waiting at the bench.... the order that I've given was "use my orders until the last quarter" but it didn't work like that, it tooks all my benchies for starters and it really was good at all for their minutes, it simply !$#!$!#$ my training.

Please check it out...

There is not mistake at the lineup.... I swear I set it up correctly I've checked it three times... what is going on with it?

hi,

in my last game (20631438) i adjusted my effort setting with tie, my tactics should be 3-2 zone and push the ball, but today i checked the boxscore and my effort was normal, my tactics 2-3 zone and look inside. something went wrong. maybe it's because the boxscore-site was not available shortly after the game. i hope somebody can help.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that there is a bug. You can check your real, previous lineups in pull-down menu but I'm sure that you didn't make any mistake. I was cheated several times too :/

and once again.... this is the second match in row... with a total different order. The first was "Use my orders until de 4th quarter" and I had the same problem... my benchers were the starters, but now I've changed my order to "Use only my orders" and it's have happened again.

What is going on here.... the minutes of my players are totally lost.... please check this problem quickly and fix it. I am getting crazy because I have no idea how to set up my lineups in the future in order to look forward my kid's minutes.

Thank you.

Are you refering to the last cup game? You do know that if you set a really lousy player as a starter and a great player at the substitute spot, their spots might be changed by the coach? Or if the substitute is somewhat better than the starter he will enter the game sooner, from the bench.
So to avoid these switches you must set your great players at the reserve spot or set the guy you want to play for all starter, sub, reserve spot. Thus giving the great players small amount of minutes or only blowout time.

First time this has happened. I double checked to make sure I had submitted the correct lineup by going to my next match and using the same orders as this match- with Starters, backups and strictly follow depth chart.

The game engine switched my starting PF (Kiulkis) and C (Mancera) for my backups (Potapowicz and Magnan) before the game started so that the "S" appeared for the would-be backups who ended up starting the match and playing quite a few minutes. As I said, I just checked the orders and they were submitted correctly. Please advise...

So, here is the link.

This happens when you use very different quality players.
If you want to use crappy players at starter position, you must put your great backups at reserve spot. So crappy player starter+sub spot and great player at reserve spot.
GL.
Edit: BTW I have explained this about 100 times:) Also the same situation is explained one post before your post. So it would be adviseable to read posts before posting.

Im sorry but I agree with what you are saying but do not think it is applicable to this situation.

Here is what happened. I liked up 5 players to start the game, 5 different players as backups, and 2 different players as the reserves. So regardless of how good each player is they should begin the game in those positions (or else there is a fundamental flaw in the way the line up system works - which i do not believe to be the case). Now AFTER the game starts, I understand the coach can put players where ever according to skill level, etc.
HOWEVER, two players who were listed as backups in the "Set Orders" page were listed as Starters in the game - which IS in my opinion a bug.
Again, if the game had started and these players had come off the bench I would not be posting this, but as they were listed as BACKUPS on the "Set Orders" and then miraculously became starters, here I am.

Even if this has been posted about before it apparently has not been resolved so please do not disregard me as this is something that has never happened to my team and should never happen especially with "Strictly Follow Depth Chart. Or perhaps someone else aside from you should look into this. I do not mean to be rude, at the same time do not want to be treated as such.

Again thank you for your time,

-NS

I encountered this problem in my first season. You can call it "coach still wants to win games".
So let me explain this again to you. If you have set a starter that is really badly skilled compared to you sub then the spots will be changed before the game starts. If your starter is moderately weaker than your sub then they will play around even minutes in game. If you want to avoid coach subbing players before they even get to the floor. Make sure you assign your supermen into reserve spot. Setting starter+sub for the crappy player and great player at reserve spot will net you about the minutes you would actually get with similar players at starter and sub spot.
I am a bit surprised that a manager who has played for so many seasons has not seen this happen before. But let's wait for others to give some insight.
