Well it was a great smashing of DFBS without Duff Duff. The trouble is it doesn't matter how many regular season games they lose as long as he is back in good shape for the playoffs except for one thing. This injury will probably cost them any chance they had of HCA for the playoffs so maybe they are a little vulnerable.

In my news, I just lost by 7 to BLS in a game where neither of us tried. Would have been funny if I had won. It is funny that I am on 0 wins yet have had three games decided by single figuers. Hopefully all my close losses will be used up this season.

Actually the allstar week saw a price drop last season, it was one of the best weeks to buy. Perhaps those of us with many million in the bank can do a little shopping for a bargain.

On the other hand HA is far from sunk. If Duffman gets injured again DFBS can basically kiss their season goodbye and you will survive.

And those prices? Lets see some real sales, they are reasonable but far from bargains.

I said i was going to buy a couple of players to be more competitive and now have. Lets see how i go after tournament commitments, but ill give 5th spot a go :)

Cant compete with Hadders and Pancakes for the 5th spot.

If I get my act together and follow Yodas lead, HA could still have 3rd pick in the draft

With those two purchases it should push you a bit above middle. Your guards have always been outperforming their salaries and with the new defensive pf/c you might have strengthen that inside defense. I think its possible for you to come 5th.

It is possible but for it to happen he has to pass Pancakes. Have you had a look at Pancakes roster? What is more likely is that he can pass HA and get HCA for the relegation series against you or Zazz. Then with that roster he may just have a chance.

Well if your "roster clean" is as fake as Sid's "Grand sale" where he listed three old and underperforming players for about what they were worth anyway then as usual nothing much will change. There have been some massive moves in the last couple of seasons: WB buying up and taking on WA and getting the championship, C-Cat having a total roster overhaul and Iwen selling off his young and brilliant stars so he can make some more.

So far this season I haven't seen much action from anyone besides C-Cat and Hadders. Maybe Direwolf being able to sell off an old 50k guy for $2,000,000 was big news but it was hardly a radical move. Maybe me selling off three of my five starters from last season is a big move for me but it hardly affected anyone.
