great about the potential, but atrocious JS and OD? thats major suckiness

how would you go about training him? Id be tempted to train him as a PF/C and then after a few seasons, migrate him to SF.

I would sell him for 50k or whatever and spend my div 2 dollars on a real trainee.

I'm not even sure what direction I'm heading just yet. Just thought it was odd to pick up a player with that potential as the last pick in the draft. I don't spend money on it, so it was a complete fluke. He's no potential rookie of the year candidate but still not bad considering.

oh its no real surprise. you could assume that VicMages, Haggards both didnt assign their draft. Plus yourself and myself, plus you would assume probably Crockers and any others who spent big before the finals didnt spend any points on the draft.
I would guess, that probably only 3-4 teams really spent a lot of points on the draft. And they arent always going to see all the high potential guys, because you have to spend a few points to get the potential.
And because your guy is a bit low on the stats, maybe he was only 3-ball? So most people would have overlooked him for learning more about his potential.
Im only guessing really. It is still a big of luck involved. Just probably not as much as you're thinking.

All true. I do believe Haggards got the best player though?

Or perhaps it was Hadders... I always get them mixed up.

Guard draftee up for sale if anyone interested by the way. Listed during daytime so if my starting price is reasonable (nfi) you could pick him up at a decent price. Aussie MVP.

I spent a grand total of $0 on the draft, so my order was completely random. :p
