Oynak scares the heck out of me, and I keep getting this feeling that he's not going to start at center tonight -- I don't suppose you would care to tell me if I'm wrong?

Alright kids, now's the time to load up on salary. The TV contract should get calculated on Monday (or is it next Monday?), so I don't want to see any teams with less than the current salary floor ;) If you're feeling really ambitious, you could get some cheap high-salary players and then dump them once the economic update goes through...

I was checking out Brod myself too. Not sure I want to spend a lot of money on one player though since I have quite a few holes to fill.

I really timed putting them up for sale wrong, as there auctions should have ended tonight instead of tomorrow so I don't have to pay salary on them. Brod has really been a dissapointment to me, I thought he would have been more dominating at the SF spot, but his outside shooting has been to inconsistent.

The outside shooting is because of the LI tactic. Players always shoot worse in it.

I feel like me, hrudey, and TicTacShack are all looking for the same players. I was going to buy both Michael Johnson and Lindsey, but didnt because I don't want either of them to know what I'm buying. Needless to say, I may change my focus of my team to counter what they are doing.

Well, I'm happy with Johnson. I will probably offload the Finnish guy as they are comparable salary-wise.. I set up this off season to make sure I had a competitive team and am using this extra time to try and get more American. Lindsey may have been a mistake. I was indenting him to replace the Polish PG I had aquired, but he's more than double the salary. The real key is to not over pay for players. Also, since smallfries, hrudey, and I seem to be the ones trying to run outside offenses, we tend to look for similar players. It doesn't help that we try for Americans as much as possible.
