Second season in DIV:

Last season I went 21-1 and lost in the semi-finals (on purpose) because I am making much more money in DIV then I would in DIII (also, it's better for my training program). Surprisingly, this season started off very roughly, but after my initial 3 losses my team has won all their games and seems to be in their best shape. My training this season has also been splendid. I didn't think my 21 yo would train so quickly but I guess the drop in the ages wasn't as big as I thought.

I am right now in the money-saving mode and so by the end of the season I should be able to aqcuire a good SG/SF for 1.2 M. After selling some of my "DIV players" and in conjunction with promotion money, I should be able to pick up an OK trainee ($200) and good C/PF player. I'm actually really excited for this season and have already sent out my "trash talking" email to the one guy that might possibly be standing in my way.

Smallfries II
I continue to win and sit at 6-1 right now. My one loss was the first game of the season when i took it easy to start to get my enthusiasim up. I still dont think im the best in my league but i may be able to become that with good training and if i buy a few more players. Overall im the 3rd best team i think in my division. Im not really worried that much about winning this year because im in the process of trying to train a beast lol. Once i think hes ready for the step up ill go all out to try to promote.

Like smallfrie, I'm sitting at 6-1 having lost my first game using TIE. I just beat the 2nd ranked team in my conference...however they played TIE on their home court and I barely beat them...something for me to worry about I guess. In terms of overall league strength, I'm probably 3rd or 4th best in terms of the team I can put out. However, since I am one of the only ones managing my enthusiasm I do have a chance to promote (as long as I upgrade either my C or PF position).

(32317690) Not too often a IV team takes down a NBBA team without the CT-TIE combo but I was able to take down one of them this week.

I thought I could get him although it wasnt really until the guy who was guarding my main scorer fouled out that I broke it open. Guarding a 100k inside guy on a IV salary is no fun though lol.

Playing TIE every game is a good way to get knocked out of the cup ;)

why sell him? you just bought him for 500k an now you have to sell him for a minium of 625k to break even. if he is better than you had at the spot before keep him an keep training the other spot. it will all work out an you will be better very soon

My journey in the National Tournament ends this week (99.9% likely) by the infamous Salisbury Auerbach's managed by BB-Edju...hopefully I don't suffer the same fate as his last opponent, getting 33 points scored on (highest in that game) by a guy whose salary is less than 3k...
