** I am rather fuzzy on the value of the IS I would aim for, I´m open to suggestions

i make the experience that some IS help the offense, i probadly would sacrifice some ID or maybe a overall level of inside skills for more IS.

also i would add 1-2 level of JS, but if you manage to get a team like you have suggested i believe you have a very good div 2 team already.

Also i would go up in passing and sacrifice OD for some passing, at least my team is build around passing as offense skill and work quite ok with outside attack even when the shooting skills are outmatched by OD.

theres one dumb manager in my league who has too many lux boxes and a 76k monster. he tried to sell him, but he didn't. meanwhile, while he tried to sell, I copied his skills on a sticky note. here are the skills;

JS-18
JR-7
OD-11
HAN-19
DR-20+
PA-12
IS-6
ID-5
REB-3
SB-7
STA-7
FT-6

So he was a shooting guard who can barely score cause of his bad GS, but he got good JS but bad OD. So he barely competes well at D5 level, let alone D3, D2, or D1....

JS 8 5 JR
OD 4 20 HD
DR 20 20 PA
IS 10 17 ID
RB 17 17 SB

He doesn't even have to be a HoF; this is halfway through MVP potential. Offense: PG, SG or SF. Defense: C.
For a PG, his IS is too big. For a SF, his HA, RB and SB is too big. On defense he dominates. Salary: ~150k.

Only three skills are trained 1-position: SB, ID and PA. Other skills are trained via RB and 1 on 1 for SF/PF which are 2 position. It's hard to do it, but you get a unique player who is tough to defend. With height of ~206 cm, I'd say you need 6 seasons of training. In my opinion thinking outside the box is future of BB.
