Whatever you set you will get player with 36+ minutes in games with 30point difference and about 40+ minutes in close games.
I didnt speak up about few NTs that had no chance to try how it works becose they had to compete from first game on while other had time to do so but that is different story. I like those smartasses who has no clue how things used to work and they work now but dont hesitate to tell veterans what they should do. Maybe if they have a player becose of who they sacraficed their own team results for 10 or more seasons and after that time they suddenly find out it is waste of time becose the guy was not HOF and that he cant play in NT game anymore becose he is not starter so now he is 25% short on money, experiences and game fun would change his mind.
Just run through some NT games that are not blowouts and make statistic how many players are involved and check their minutes.

Not really sure if your criticising me here or if your bust telling how things work. I was just giving advice on things that could work and that he could try in order to maybe get it to work.
For the second part of your post I have no idea at all what your referring to.

First part was reffering to you, you asked about how it works when you set just 3 players.
All other things were posted to everybody.
About that second part, players with MVP and lower potential are hard to train beyond 135 skills becose potential will stop them earlier. According to current system when with good stamina it is well enough to have 3-4 guards, 2 SFs and 3-4PFs in NT it is harder for lower potential players to be involved in NT game. No games no money compensation for NT player (or much lower). Apply the same to experiences and fun (as interes of players manager in NT system).
Until now the NTs could also be known as communities (countries) battle, now it will be battle of managers who lead NT with 2-3 more fellaz as we gonna need less players and only top players. Less managers from community will be involved, so interes in NT will drop worldwide.
But that is all i was talking about in my first post here, not the one before this.
I hope it is more clear now.

NT games are a problem of course and the power of a NT manager just increased this season. Some have gained from the changes (the ones with players used as starters) others have lost. I fully expect more and more people to complain about minute allocations by the end of the season.

I also very much doubt they will be able to implement a more flexible substitution pattern for the foreseeable future though.

Maybe for NTs we could go backwards with old engine (simpliest way how to solve it?). Dunno how difficult it is to implement more subs for faster tactics (slow paced tactics could stay as it stands now).
Generally, I think this change is ok for regular teams but for NTs we need to get involved more players. We might lose managers interes really quickly if we stay in current mode. (or increasing merchendise revenue for about 20%-30% as we have decreased number of players playing a game)
Lot of managers are focused f.ex. on U21, they are new managers mostly they train "star" potential players and are proud that as new managers somewhere in Div III. league they are able to have a National team player. This is not just about senior national teams. This change has affected maybe bigger spectrum of managers than we all thought..

Is this happening with your NT? I'd suggest everyone contact the NT manager to state their case, though of course its up to him if he listens or not.

To communities in general I'd say this. Next season when the NT election comes around, make sure you ask candidates whether they intend to field a full lineup or one with only a few players. Then vote for those who give the answer you prefer.

Your problem as you state it seems to be that people will be unhappy that their players miss out, and therefore don't get any merchandising bonus. Giving more to the people who have players on the NT does nothing for those players whose players have missed out. So again, I disagree entirely.

That is exactly what i want but unfortunately is not possible anymore. So we want the same right?
As you disagree with compensating rising merch revenues becose players who dont play gets nothing you agree again that current system is not ok. Do you understand that 20-30% of money dissapeard? I am totally in for players comeback but if it is not gonna happen at least the money should be given back to system. As we have less players needed in NTs that means less interes to train players well. At least increasing merch revenues to amount we used to have for 29seasons could be that as backup plan. I d say fair enough becose the money would still be there.
And if i may be that brave and ask about your solution of this situation would you share?

You won't get a straight answer Zajino, but I completely agree with you that managers are hit by this unintended effect of removing blanks.

If you think we agree you didn't read what I posted. The NT manager can fix this himself if he wants. The community can vote against him if he doesn't do what the community wants.
