I didn't know that you could even dunk like that on BB. America's team is incredible...

Check the Suggestions they are important

Are you kidding? Of course you can dunk like that on BB; in fact it's quite common. What do you think all those "player X goes way up high to receive an alley-oop pass...Scored" comments are about when there's no second player credited with the assist? Obviously he alley-ooped to himself like in that video. xD But seriously. I always find those alley-oops where no one gets an assist; so unrealistic but it's fairly common at least in my team's games. Has anyone else noticed that?

I'm too busy noticing my guys finding an open lane to the basket followed by an inevitable missed layup, and the ever-present fumblefingers on rebounds to notice that. ;)

I'm too busy getting self assisted three pointers by my power forward! I would LOVE to see that one in real life.

Maybe he bounces it off his opponent back to himself?

I was thinking he went "NBA Street" and threw it off the backboard to himself and hit the fade away from deep!

NBA Street= Best video game ever. I used to dominate at that. Gamebreakers FTW!

Link to the game? I would love to see that IRL, but I'd settle for seeing it in BB.

Here's a video: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgTnywddYBc)

The game can be found by going to Google and putting in the title of the game. It appears there's a version for both PS3 and Xbox.

That should be the link to the play by play. Julio Garcia is the one that did it...he hit the shot with 1 second left in the 3rd quarter! So it was a Buzzer Beater, self assisted three!

Wow that's crazy. The only semi-plausible explanation is that his pass somehow got deflected back to him, and with 1 second left he had to put up the shot, which he luckily made. Not sure how you would code that probability into the GE though. I love how it's the center who did it too; not exactly the team sharpshooter right there.
