Permission granted.

No denying I got a bit lucky with a few of your players fouling off

Having 1 of my players foul out is 'a bit lucky', especially when it is my best all round player fouling out with 7 minutes to go in the third
Having 2 of my players foul out is 'incredibly lucky', especially when it is my best all around scorer who was killing you, before fouling out late in the third
Having 3 of my players foul out is taking luck to the point of absurdity, especially when its my best SF, with 7 or 8 minutes left in the game

Especially since, even with two players fouled out, it was still pretty close before number 3 went.

Kinda blows for me really, since I think that if none of the players foul out, I'm a pretty good show of taking that (to only lose by 12, with all that going is, is a pretty good effort), but we'll never know. And I imagine you'd much rather win without having me whinging about crappy luck.

I'll use my swear quota later ;)

No doubt the way the game was going I think you probably would have won if you hadnt started losing players to fouls.

That said I do believe that a few of my players may have contributed to a few of your players having those foul troubles.

And I imagine you'd much rather win without having me whinging about crappy luck.

Nah go ahead mate you are welcome to complain as much as you like.

I wonder what Whitebeard might gleam from the game and also wonder what his intentions are for the rest of the season.

As it stands he will have HCA in the finals

Also congrats to yourself double GDPing me and also having a go and not conceding- well done

In league games this season, we've had the exact same amount of FTs, suggesting our players are equally good at drawing fouls. And your team has averaged more fouls per game, suggesting they are more foul prone. So I doubt it was your players that contributed to it, was just the luck of the draw. The players of mine that fouled out aren't exactly super foul prone either - heck Wayne has fouled out I think three times in the past five seasons...

But that's the way it goes - I had a good draw to get to the final in the first place, so you win some and you lose some. Just rather annoying to get my tactics for the final bang on, only to get screwed over in the worst way.

The 4 players on my stat sheet that have the highest fouls average per game, all didnt play tonight.

Of the 7 that played 3 have between 2.5 and 2.7 fouls per game, 2 have either 1.4 or 1.5 fouls per game and the other 2 average 0.7 fouls per game. (average fouls per game this season)

Id suggest its my scrubs in junk time that are pushing my foul averages up.

Ruofa has a season average of 3.8 fouls per game & Safador has an average of 2.8.

I assume that they would have been guarding a few of my better inside players tonight. (Who did you have defending who?)

The Duke with a season average of 1.5 fouls per game, I guess was a bit more out of character fouling out though

How much money did you give to that referee?

A bit surprised with the result tonight. I thought sid wouldve ran away with that game but in fact mllama was a lot closer than I thought.

Goes to show how important HCA is. That or mllama has some really quality and choice players with very efficient salaries.

Have to give credit where credit is due. Grats sid on this dominating run of gold trophies. And grats mlla on yet another runners up prize.

We did not pay the referee a cent

And I dont believe that you should infer that our cheer squad members need to be paid a cent to influence a game whilst refereeing

My team is a bit underrated, due to the fact that I was training out of position. I've got a pretty good, versatile bunch of players - of my starters tonight, I'd be happy for 4 of them to play at SF. The ratings I've pulled in recent games aren't that much behind sids. So combined with the double gdp, I genuinely expected to win, which is why I'm a bit pissed off with the game engine :p.

No doubt that I was vulnerable given the lousy game shape of Breathes

Very hard for Safadar a guard to cover the inside offensive skills of Williams and Ryder and likewise quite difficult for a PF like Ruofa to stop the outside offensive skills of the same 2 players.

After 9 or so seasons training they are more than versatile.

That and the fact I had the leader of my cheer squad as the referee were possibly the 2 deciding factors in the result going the way it did

Wayne was defending the pf - I ain't silly. He can cover outside players, as can malaga.

likewise, I could say guards like brethes and co would find it hard to stop my pseudo sfs playing at the guard spots. Which could well have been a deciding factor.

Reality was, it should have been a close game, and there was only one deciding factor in it ;)
