All star break is just around the corner and here's a quick summary of Day 12.
Magic @ Illusion would be a perfect road win for Magic unless they screwed up everything on 4th quarter. 91-81. No one knows why Holloway was benched in such a vital game.
Another important game of the day was between Investors and Flyers. 2 Flyers recorded 10 asts and another recorded 9. Great 2nd half effort helped them move to 2nd seed in Big 8, 94-106.Flyers made it official they eye on title by acquiring a 60k SF, Iñaki Intxausti.
Hawks didn't forget their first loss of last season was @ Bangers and took the game seriosly. Hawks put an offensive line up and cleared the bad memories, 101-117. Hawks’ Russain guard Bong was dominant with 38 pts, 5 asts, 4 rbds and 2 blks and 1 stl.
Tachenko wasn't expecting to beat Gavno but who knows what would happen if the coach started Mayagoitta and put more into the game. Gavno, as usual, was perfect on the defensive end, 94-80.
Speaking of defense, Cleveland @ Steppers was a great defensive game for both sides and Cleveland grabbed the win, 74-79. This is the 3rd consecutive win for Cleveland. Steppers are underperforming so far.
Goats super win against Pistons will be a great motivation for them down the stretch, 122-79. Pistons management announced they will relocate the team to Australia after this season. "It's not easy to focus on games when your team is planning to move overseas" said Pedro Zapatero after the game.
In a day where Pistons and Tachenko lost, Dutchmen used the chance to close the gap and beat Armaggedons, 71-84. Stats and ratings were close but Dutchmen were more effective on the court especially behind the 3 pt line.
Road win against winless Traficcers was win number 2 and a much needed one for Broncos, 82-102.
Player of the day was Mannu of Flyers who achieved 16th triple double of his career. 16 pts, 11 rbds, 10 asts with %80 from the field. Phew, this guy has the talent.
Must see games of Saturday are Bangers @ Tachenko and Investors @ Cleveland.
