he'll just have to console himself with another PL MVP title hahah
hopefully he can also add a PL title to his list of accomplishments as well this season

Smeltz has been fielding games at both the PF and C position. I think the way buzzerbeater picks the allatar players is that it favours players who have played in one position only.
or that PTE needs to realise that no one like Smeltz .... ;)

Well it's been pretty quiet since the ASG so thought I'd post up and see if we can get some banter going in the forum.
Nice close game between the two conferences, good to see the better side came out trumps! I must also mention that Bulewski was outstanding in both taking out the 3pt contest and scoring big for his team in the game. After 20pts in the 1st quarter I was half expecting a 50+ game, we were lucky he stopped shooting in the final 3 quarters.
One person I was wishing would stop shooting was Mamerto Méndez from Allsorts. He went close to shooting twice as many shots as any other player, shooting 12-27 to score 28! To put this in perspective, Bulewski needed only 12-14 to score 32pts, including 6-7 beyond the arc. I would honestly say Mendez seemed to be the only thing keeping the Big 8 so close. It was good also to see a few of the big guys getting some points on the board, not allowing the guards to steal the entire show as usually occurs in the ASG.
This game even came down to the dying seconds of the game, where the Big 8 had the final shot. This was tailor made for a big Bulewski game winning 3 but some how the ball ended up in my brother's PF Malbasa's hand. He actually hit a 3 during the game but unfortunately his biscuits were spent on that and he failed to seal the deal for his team.
It was definitely an entertaining game to watch but disappointingly nobody was around but myself and donnyb (Aussie Dude popped in for a bit).
Hopefully as we start to head into the business end of the season things will become a bit more lively within the forum!

As i had 3 players in the game I watched it later the next day. It was good too see all my players perform well. Especially Mahfer who is playing out of position as a SF as he has done all season.

Well if the all-star committee liked my players a little more I would have more incentive to watch. This is the same team that came top (just) of my conference last season. The only difference is I have been giving the youngsters big minutes in meaningful matches this season (last season two position training and one young trainee meant most minutes were in the scrimmage, this season three young trainees and a lot of single position training means almost every match an 18 or 20 year old is playing 48+ at either PG or SG.). I have also had one of my top rotation players injured basically the whole season, as soon as one gets better another goes down. So the team is still good, just I think the all-star committee looks at my record and says, "Mediocre team, next!"

The funniest part was that late in the 4th only Bulewski and Malbasa were scoring for the blues (I refuse to call them great 8 and big 8- mainly cos I cant remember which is which!). Vio called the setup BB for Bulewski, but I called Malbasa. I WANTED Bulewski, why wouldn't he take the game winning shot after going almost 1.OOO from the field is beyond me.
It WOULD have been epic if MAlbasa had managed to steal it, but was pretty unlikey.

yeah, bit dismal those numbers. Assists weren't easy to come by surprisingly enough.
