lol no I'm not talking about training players whilst in the abbl.
I don't even think training is relevant in this discussion in the first place since everyone does training..
The point here is promoting too 'early'.. the argument I was trying to get across was already brought up by monkeybiz.. trying to compete in div2 and save money is a pain.. the best I could save was 50k gross a week, if you tanked the abbl you could get 400k gross a week. its a no brainer.
I'm saying there is nothing wrong with promoting too early to get that 1mil promotion money, then tanking the rest of the abbl season... some other people seem to think otherwise.
And like it or not money is a big factor in this game.. look at WA, soon to be 3 abbl titles in a row and look at how jon bogan helped adam guns promote to the abbl too "early", all prime examples of the power of money. Pretty sure WA and adam guns had some kind of plan in process, but the x-factor was the money.
