But not multiskilled center is not good center, so you can't expect high price for such a player.

Maybe there is a problem that there are plenty of center as you mentioned, probably much more than guards as you mentioned.

Yes, and this doesn't change the fact that this strategy works better with guards than centers :)

First of all, congratulations for your post. Its really hard for a manager to find such a team in a big community and you posted interesting things to comment. Apart from that I always said it, there are lot of good managers on Spain on Div III-IV(ofc on I-II ;) ) but for different reasons its really hard to promote on competetive leagues.

I know both players, its by far the best SG-SF i've seen since season 4 on the youth spanish team. Of course im not going to tell their skills, but im really impressed this manager manage to train such a good SG-SF, plus he is training with a trainee level7 during all this seasons(im not sure if during this 4 seasons but at least, 2 think yes.).

About those who said: ''he is going to pay lot on salaries next season'' he wont at all. He trained really well so his salaries wont rise much, its the advantatge of training on a multiskilled way, you dont have to pay huge amounts of money on salarys so if he fail this season to promote he can try it next season with better conditions.

Also if at the end he decides to give up this strategy(from my opinion it can be really usefull, but it needs like 4-5 seasons thats over 1-2 years no?), he can sell both players the SG-SF to start a new team. I dont know how the TL would value them, but for me Bañales is a top SF around 8M and Franco can be valued around 7M without problem.

I really dont know wether if this manager will arrive to Div II, but im sure that he will manage to promote to Div III for sure and then depending on what league is on DivIII he can have chances to promote again.

There are some leagues when you can put a 18years old on the starting line-up in championship games and win,and other when you can't do it....

ok, the problem starts from the draft, good center prospects come out of the draft with really low skills (around level 2,3) except big men skills. I train centers since I started this interesting game and you know it's difficult to train JS, DV or Passing tall players, so we focus on the main 4 skills for Centers plus ST and FT.

about prices, I am really disappointed and I am not sure whether I will get 3.2M from my best trainee!! while guard trainers are selling their trainees around 8M even at older ages, this is due to the very high salaries of centers. at the field they perform nearly same most of the time but the difference in salaries is too much and that gives advantage to guard trainers at the market.

no problem if the salary of the big men is higher than guards, but in such big difference is discouraging. I suggest BB management should think little bit about center salaries at off season update because many big men trainers may not afford high salaries plus very low prices at market, and may change to guard trainers. it's not easy to change your training regime from big men to guards when you are playing for promotion to first division but still I am thinking about it.
even if Guards become cheep at the transfer market it's ok, because they will now destroy you account by high salaries Plus you can train them with lower potential compared to C/PF

I don't agree that training outside skills for bigmen is so difficult.
If you find bigman draftee with outside skills 5+ (there are such players, especially high JS, OD and eventually PAS would be great starting position) there is several ways how to developed him to multiskilled bigman. For example starting with REB and ID, then continue with one on one for SF/PF. As player improves driving+handling enough he can play well Look Inside on PG and train outside def. and passing. And finally you finish him by IS and JS training to be really great bigman.
