I did notice your injuries, Bilbo. The only good thing I can say is that at least it didn't happen in the finals. In Season 15 when I won Div IV.20 my star PF went down in the crucial grand final series. I was lucky to crawl over the line in the second game to clinch it. There is nothing worse than injuires...even more so at the pointy end of the season.

Hopefully your injuries heal faster than expected. Getting a better doctor won't hurt.

I can't promise you anything but depending on how things fall at the end of the season, who knows. If he is my first roun final game and his enthusiasm isn't high enough I may be able to do that for you! lol
My enthusiasm will be at its max but he will have HCA. If I get the tactics perfect and he doesn't then it is definately possible.

I'm surprised by a couple of things about Marcus. Firstly, I thought his secondaries would be a bit higher given his salary. Secondly, and a good thing for you, I think you've got a good chance of a top team taking him as he can still be trained! He's only 24 with MVP potential...I would doubt if he has capped in any of his big skills. A mangaer with cash can give him some additional training and still sell him for a greater amount down the track. The only real problem I can see is finding a manager (will likely be an ABBL or Div II team manager) who can afford to buy him and then train him. I was also suprised to find his transfer estimate was only $750k - 1 Mil. I still think you can sell him for $1.5 mil. Good luck.

wow i just picked up another 2 injurys in my scrimage dont know how serious yet since the games still going. And i just invested in a new medic before the game!!!

3 players injured, Bilbo! All $10k+ players. I feel for you, mate. Hopefully that new medic gets them up and running sooner rather than later.

WELL GUYS...AFTER MUCH THOUGHT I HAVE DECIDED TO PULL OUT OF THE FINALS' RACE THIS SEASON. STARTING NEXT WEEK I WILL BEGIN TO SELL OFF MY PLAYERS, KEEPING A WEAK SQUAD THAT WILL JUST STAY ABOVE THE SALARY FLOOR. IF MY CALCULATIONS ARE CORRECT, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO AVOID RELEGATION AT SEASON'S END. I HAVE DECIDDED TO DO AN OIL TANKER AND SAVE AND TRAIN THIS SEASON AND THE NEXT. BEWARE OF THE MAGICK IN SEASON 19!

Hmmm...ignore that last post guys. My Fishbowl colleagues have shown me the error of my ways. While I don't fully agree with them, I'll defer to their combined wisdom at this point. I will, however, be making some minor adjustments.

LOL, getting people's advises are always useful. however i would think than if you wait for 2 seasons like you were planing for you could eventually build up a really competitive team where you should be able to promote and stay in div 2. But is all about how you want to play your game. i think training and promoting young and talented players are one of the best way to get to higher division, as you can always train them in the way you like and they should have a respectively lower salary compare to your imports. I still think that training and building your team in long term should be a better way instead of stacking those star players and paying them with hugh amount of salary. (well i think many respected managers in the higher division in Australia would probs think the same lol. you might just ask them for me whether im wrong :P)

LOL for my own team im getting frustrated too because i was going for a long-term run in this league but looks like my rosters is constantly changing :( lol due to my lack of management in this season so far, that costs me to import some players and hopefully that will be enough for me to stay in this league before it gets completely screwed up !!

Don't worry, Zinga, becoming champions of this League is still a two season proposition. However, there is no need, at this stage, to sell everyone and tank. In fact, since the boys convinced me to keep going I have made two changes to my team. I swapped one SF for another and then a C for a PF. Both changes have improved my team slightly. Mind you, I say two seasons but...

...my rookies are coming along nicely. Anything is possible next season I suppose.

Well, I really liked what I saw in my loss to the Ozzy Roasters tonight. They had HCA and they fielded their best team. I played my 5 starters as backups and my 5 backups as starters, saving my big guns for Tuesday night. The good news is that the Roasters only won by 13 points. The Magick is looking good. The two new acquisitions have slotted in nicely.

Well done to those of you who had wins tonight.

Looks like my prediction of the XBBL being a threat to you, Urmummas has eventuated. Mind you, they put more effort into the game while you had HCA. Interesting. Great SG match-up.
