His potential is nowhere near good enough - with that potential, he wouldn't be able to make it onto the lowest ranked U21 team in the world.

Also, have you been Crunch Timing most of your games? You know that's a really bad idea, right?

You're doing it way too often which kills your enthusiasm, which is why you're losing even when you do CT. You need to do it once or twice a season at the absolute maximum (not including playoffs). You're doing it once a week. Just normal or do Take It Easy for most games. Read about "Enthusiasm" in the game manual.

with starter potential, he will barely make a good div 4 player.. but this has been mentioned many times b4 and ignored, so i dont see why this time will be any different...

The funny thing starter potential can be useful in some nations, in India we had a starter who was a backup bigman last season. In Australia no way. However an even funnier thing is he does have someone worth training. How lucky, after his first pick was a $2k 6th man he lucked out on an 19yo superstar in the third round!

Christian Murphy (22818052)
Shooting Guard
Owner: Dianella Big Cats
Weekly salary: $ 3 519
Age: 19
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: strong

Christian says: "I'm new and I will make an impact here."

Christian Murphy was pick 37 in the season 17 draft by Dianella Big Cats.

This is the guy he should be concentrating on yet I see all he has played is SG.

Crazy Australian, here is what you must do. Please do it.

1) Get a level 4 trainer at least but with no more than a $30,000 a week salary (as close to $10,000 a week as possible).
2) Set your training to pressure for PG.
3) Play both Christian Murphy and Zviad Gulbani at least 48 minutes a week at the PG position.
4) Wait a few weeks.
5) Like magic they will get better.
6) Once they both have at least prominent outside defence switch to passing for PG.

If you must give Ian Statton the extra minutes then do it but you would be better off just ignoring him and training Jaime Haya instead.

aaah the joys of trying to improve your managers :)

I wasnt sure where to post / ask this, but do you have an offsite website/software to collect the skills of your U21s, or do you manually record their skills and progress?

We do it manually but im looking to try and get something that managers can log into every now and again to save us time to focus on dealing with managers and helping them out. i noticed poland has something and im sure other countries too. But it shouldnt be hard to adapt them for any country as the players are all the same its just a different country code?

id be interested to hear how you guys do it and what your plans are etc, and if it would be helpful i wouldnt mind telling you how we do ours right now

cheers
mark

I know the USA has it automated but Australia (and India) just cut and paste the skills of everyone relevant (India has a database of a couple of hundred players) at the start of the season and record them. At the moment they are on BBstats but I am a little worried about that. I would love to have it in a federation but the trouble is so many interested people aren't supporters.

You can keep your level 5 60k trainer if you insist but as a division IV team it is probably killing you. You would be MUCH better off with a level 4 trainer costing you under $20k a week.

Gulbani is the greatest player Aussie BB has seen do you doubt his ability to score points from the PG position? He would be like a cross between Derek Rose and Chris Paul, only better.

Please do yourself a favour, instead of training four guys badly including one (Statton) who everyone keeps telling you is not worth it, wouldn't it be better to train three guys (including the great Gulbani) properly?
