And as been proven on a different suggestion (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...) that is much heavier for servers, there is definitely time for calculating that.
I don't see how that suggestion proves anything, nor do I really see why this is addressed to me. It is a suggestion about adding a small international league competition, which I assume would be run in parallel with the existing B3 tournament. It is no proof of anything.
Does that suggestion imply added load? Surely. What is the point in schedule this added load is introduced? Parallel to B3 games, I assume. Which calculations take priority in BB? Running games.
Why here some users decided there is problem with the servers, and do they believe that throwing the "servers is already busy" wild-card, when they have not a single argument against, will work when the developers will read this.
Whether or not added load is a problem for any given suggestion is always a new discussion. How much extra complexity and load is involved, at which point do the calculations take place, how often do you need to run them,, what is gained with the feature, etc. All that needs to be taken into account. Discussions about the complexity or server load often help in improving the suggestions and, very importantly, in forming the user expectations. I don't think anyone assumes the BB team actually look at the suggestions and think "this seems nice, but there is some dude who says it's too complex - so, let's not do it".
