Fishbowl Season Seven Ladders Week Eleven

11 Viral Infections 2 9 903 1192 0.182 -289
12 Gisborne Gladiators 0 11 813 1171 0.000 -358

Well done to Whitebeard on taking out the minor premership. Bad luck to Monkey Business who just missed out on the playofs. In the West there were really only five teams in the running with a huge gap between Monkey Business and Western Titans. Really ABBL domination here with 4 wins be ing the most for any non-ABBL team despite some getting free wins from Smeltz, Naker and Bainsy.

East
League Details W L PF PA % PD
1 Black Label Society 11 0 1217 924 1.000 293
2 Koopasaurus 9 2 1025 907 0.818 118
3 Da Fat Boy Slim 8 3 1040 856 0.727 184
4 Bell Park SuperCats 7 4 1073 967 0.636 106
5 Melbourne Goldfish 7 4 1088 1010 0.636 78
6 Pancakes with Jam and Cream 7 4 1122 1070 0.636 52
7 Chelsea Seagulls 6 5 1083 1086 0.545 -3
8 Chumunga 3 8 977 1014 0.273 -37
9 JW City Bulls 3 8 959 1049 0.273 -90
10 Geelong Vipers 2 9 864 982 0.182 -118
11 Whompas Donkeys 2 9 850 1075 0.182 -225
12 Possum Chasers 1 10 764 1122 0.091 -358

Well done to Black Label Society who despite a second very close game where they just pipped Datzilla by three they took out the minor premership. Unlike the West there were some division II teams in the running for a finals spot but in the end the Goldfish missed out on PD to Bell Park making the East an all ABBL finals as well. A much more even competition in the East with really seven teams in the hunt for finals glory.

South
League Details W L PF PA % PD
1 CROCKERS 10 1 1014 793 0.909 221
2 TeamAkuma 9 2 1098 875 0.818 223
3 Kynlala Knights 9 2 1040 914 0.818 126
4 Mad Rangas 8 3 1120 835 0.727 285
5 Brisbane Thunder 7 4 995 913 0.636 82
6 Maggots 6 5 956 880 0.545 76
7 Coin Collectors 5 6 919 964 0.455 -45
8 shepparton shooters 4 7 984 1099 0.364 -115
9 Moorditj Magick 3 8 905 1022 0.273 -117
10 Bringing Sexy Back 2 9 859 1062 0.182 -203
11 Skyhook Dreamers 2 9 709 939 0.182 -230
12 Warren Bulls 1 10 823 1126 0.091 -303

Well done to CROCKERS for getting the HCA and Mad Rangas for making the playoffs. Probably the closest league of all with Brisbane, Maggots and several other teams having some good wins. Looks like a great top four and it would be hard to predict the winners here.

Well done by Whitebeard for taking out the regular season championship. In the end I think the best team won but the margin was not reflective of how close Black Label Society was due to the fact that teams in the West could build up a massive PD piling up on teams like Smeltz, Naker, Lordy and Bainsy.

But the biggest news of all is the top honor from this season, forget the championship, forget the Ky Smeltz memorial MVP award, the big winner is the Warren Bulls who take out the inaguaral Zivaid Gulbani award for Excellence.

Federation Standings Season Seven Week Eleven (FINAL)

Points Federation

178 Kevin
175 Sharks
158 Calamari
155 Oil Tankers

In the end things were as they should be. The Oil Tankers tanked their way to last. Sharks who were always going to have a hard time with Bainsy in the big league and Smeltz suffering bottification just couldn't keep up with Kevin. So Kevin is the official season eleven Fishbowl champions.

I just thought I would say well done to the winners of the leagues that were decided yesterday while I was out at the beach enjoying the warm weather paddling about on my board in the waves.

West

Lewisham Wombats vs. Whitebeard 94 - 108 (45587722)

Great work by these two rivals who had three games against eachother this week, surely a record. It was a tough week for mllama going down to WB all three times including in a fairly close one in the cup SF where he looked great until WB had a 36-15 final qtr. Well done to both, great managers and great people.

East

Da Fat Boy Slim vs. Black Label Society 79 - 93 (45587721)

Don't let that final score trick you, after narrowly going down by three points to BLS recently DFBS took this one to OT before having an epic collapse where he scored just 2. Dire has a brilliant undefeated record in the East however to get it he had to survive two OT games and a three point game. Tough under perssure his team has clutch. Well done to both managers.

South

Kynlala Knights vs. CROCKERS 100 - 77 (45587723)

After he stopped tanking Iwen dominated the South winning the last eight games in a row after starting a shaky three from five. CROCKERS fought hard but Iwen's roster was too strong...for about two more hours before they almost all sold and he possibly heads back into tank land. Well done to both managers.

Congrats to Whitebeard (and the other winners), expected him to beat me three in a row, and I was right! That said, I kinda wish I hadn't had a brain fart in the PL - I was setting my lineup quickly and decided to set my lineup the same as what I did in the cup. Cept I accidently set it to the same as when we played in the league, which was a bit of a weaker lineup.

Don't let the OT fool you, there's a big difference in our team. I don't I remember beating BLS even once this season lol. Congrats to BLS for always pulling it off in the last minute!
