I definitely made stupid mistakes in the begnning, by choosing the wrong guys to train - Allstar Potential and 40k salary players were like demi god players ten seasons ago.

I would make him a good PF. JR is too low for a SF and training it would be slow at that height. Would give him more OD/Passing to start, then move onto his inside skills, with one on one and JS later.

That's a lot of rebounding and shot blocking. Too much for me. I'd prefer paying for other skills.

This one. I wouldn't really want RB over 13 and I've read that people don't value SB at all. But it probably does help in some way, but I still wouldn't want to pay over 10 for SB. I'd rather push up IS, JS and PA (plus you'll get bumps in HA) - and perhaps get OD over 12.

I actually have a superstar potential trainee that i started working on this season and he will look something like this when capped:

JS:10 JR: 2
OD:10 HA: 6
DR:12 PA: 8
IS: 9 ID:16
RB:16 SB:16

Well it'll be an interesting build. Of course I think the same player with less effort put into rebounding and shot blocking and more effort into secondaries would be more effective, but I understand the desire to build your own unique player.

Personally I'd prefer not to play LI but I'm just responding to all the teams in my league who focus on OD and inside monsters. I don't have much choice right now.
