Okay, I interpreted Your sentence wrong.

We talk about minimum acceptable level. And for me HN should be >=2. Of course 5 is >=2 so it fulfill this condition.

But how many players can You find, who fulfill all conditions?

I went to TL and tried to find players with conditions as follow:

salary = 10.000 - 35.000
price <= 500.000
RB >=11
ID >=11

I could be wrong because currently I don't know realities in div IV, but I think these conditions are proper for C/PF in div IV.

and I made two next conditions:
HN >= 5 (Your condition)
and
OD >=5 (because I don't see reason to have OD worse than HN).

On TL I found only 17 players. And only 3 of them fulfilled my next conditions (they aren't very hard: all skils >=2-3, age <=32, ST >=4, not injured). And I didn't even check how well players is balanced. Most of them weren't worth their price.

So Your condition looks very good but only in theory. Reality is completely different. 3 balanced big men for all clubs in div. IV and most/all of them overpriced. And if You want to develop Your team not too slowly, You must make compromis and lower conditions.

What do you guys think of a undersized (203cm) bigman with pointguard skills?
1on1: 10
Handling: 10
Pass: 9

Would this kind of a bigman have an advantage or is just a waste of training

Well height doesn't matter you can have a 190cm big man if he has the skills. So it depends what big man skills he has as well.

Players with great skill level at the wrong spots are the best players to train my friend. Those become the well-rounded players that everyone is now looking for on the transfer market.

And at that height he'll train just fine at the big man skills. I assume it's Ivanov that you're speaking of so he's going to cap relatively early anyways. You could make him into a very effective SF or PF eventually. Maybe even a great SF.

I did a search using your criteria except HN >=2 and found 11 players. It's a lot more than 3 but still not a plethora and there aren't enough of them for the thousands of lower league teams in BB. From 3 to 11, the difference doesn't seem that big looking from this perspective.
Anyway, I can sense if he we do a search tomorrow, it could return twice those numbers like if players were magically flooding the market :P

Have you checked the OP's team ?

cbbakke, what problem did you have with your former C, he looked good. Was his salary too heavy on your economy ?
And why are you asking this question about handling ? Maybe it won't make any difference in respect to your specific problem if there is one.

We can wait even 2 seasons. But for this time club can win many matches and promote twice, instead of to wait for "ideal 20-30k C" ;-)

Well balanced players with good secondaries and low salaries are very useful in long-term strategy. But in winning strategy these players should be too weak after promotion, and should be replaced after few weeks, so they shouldn't be key players in long-term strategy ;-)

There are only 11 of your ideal C...
Tomorrow is FA's galore, didn't get it ?

I have only given my appreciation of what was the desirable level imo and answered the OP's question. I have never talked about ideals, there are no ideals, you want but can't have and make compromises in order to get the best. So the OP will make the compromises he feels like with our answers.

Have you checked his roster ? Still not I guess...

No one is ideal.
17 (currently 19) players fulfill search criteria. Only 3 of them fulfill few other basic conditions.

I have never talked about ideals,

So if minimum level is HN=5 and on TL we have only 3 acceptable players with HN=5, then if we want to find good player (not ideal) we should wait 5 seasons. Or buy very bad player who has admittedly HN>=5, but horrible other parameters.

In this way works Your "tip" ;-)

If HN should be >=5 then PA should be at least >=6, OD at least >=6, etc and number of players who fulfill these conditions still will be low, even with free agents. And please note that low level free agents are very expensive (10x salary).

Have you checked his roster ? Still not I guess..

It doesn't matter. He doesn't need C/PF with HN=5 ;-)

He should find C with proper JS, OD, DV, PA, IS, ID, RB, SB.

You are annoying :/

I have searched for HA 2 minimum with all of the 8 (EIGHT) extra criteria you have added on your own when not asked for in a simple thread about handling and I have found 11 players, reread post 29.

You are being rude, why the need to make fun of my opinion with a stupid example with horribles everywhere ?
Why act like you don't understand what I am saying. You are disappointing, you used to be more interesting.
It's not a discussion, you want to be right. I will let you be right :)

You started to prove me that my HN>=2 is wrong...
And yes, when I give tip on forum I always try to give right tip.
