About the last play of game 2 where Durant missed the 2-point shot, have to say it can be ruled as a foul at regular time but since it was the decisive play and a potential game winner so normally it wouldn't be called for a foul.

The referee did well to control the flow of the game, if the Thunders didnt play at home then Durant would get fouled out with 3:20 left at fourth where he ran into Battier and was ruled a bloking foul where it should be an offensive foul. If that happened the game would lose interest early and the last play by Durant just wouldn't happen.

Afterall Miami played well and Durant just didn't sink his shot. A well deserved the win in OKC.

Instead of attempting to hit the tying basket on the buzzer leaving Miami no time to win it in regulation, Durant went up immediately. He ends up missing, and even if he makes it Miami still would've had the ball with 9 seconds left.

Always take the early shot if you're losing, trying to take a shot on the buzzer if you're already down isn't the correct play. The early shot gives you a chance at grabbing an offensive rebound if you miss, plus you have the chance to foul and extend the game, if needed. Running the clock down essentially gives you one chance to make a shot, or it's game over.

If you make the early shot, be glad you've tied the game (or taken the lead with a 3) and go and play defence to seal the win.

+1, totally agree

P.s. Taking the shot early might give you a better look as well.

Game 3... this is what happened

Durant, as you'll recall, was on the pine with four fouls, an adherence to an outmoded style of thinking that doesn't hold up to logic or reason. The thought process behind sitting an important player with four fouls though there is a quarter and a half left to play is self-defeating at best and anachronistic at worst. The back and forth usually goes something like this:
Why are you going to sit him?
Because he has four fouls.
What happens if you play him?
He might get a fifth foul.
What happens if he gets a fifth foul?
Then we'll have to sit him.
So, you're sitting him so you don't have to sit him?
Correct.
Aren't you just handing yourself the punishment ahead of time, without actually earning it?
Um … he has four fouls.

Manager should selected "Let them play" on the tactics screen...

Game was lost for OKC when they were unusually bad at free thow line, giving up a 10 point lead in the 3rd quarter aside.

OKC couldve won games 3 and 4, but the inexperience in the 4th hurts them.

Looks like Lebron is due for a title... no team has ever come back to win the finals 1-3 down..

3 wins in a row for OKC... not likely.

I wouldn't count the Thunder out completely though, they were close to winning the last 2 games and if they win tomorrow the last 2 games are on their home court.

Still, it's hard to see the Heat dropping 3 games like that, especially now that LeBron has stopped choking. Time to admit that Lebron is the best in the world. Durant is the best scorer, but he needs to improve the rest of his game a bit more to be the best overall.

And in the end, Miami don't even drop 1 game. Wonder how many of the haterz will stop hating Lebron now that he has a ring instead of a headband...
