The most important thing is that we jumped from #29 to #23 in the standings. A top #32 placing will make this the first U-21 team to make the second round of the consolation cup ever.

The only problem I see is that Shinaga stopped logging in and now Andou will play 120 minutes plus this week. So get the Birdman ready, he will be starting next Monday against Porto.

Looking at the standings I think we should be able to advance even with a loss to Portugal..

Currently we're 5-2 +152, and the cut off is 4-3 +109. Likely after the final set of games the cut off will be 5-3 but lower than +109. So, I'm think we're in good shape.

Would be nice though to get a win and secure a higher seed. I guess Portugal may be tough.

My 12 Enthusiasm is now a 6, but the most important thing was to go where no Nippon U-21 team has gone before and that is the top 32 second round......
BTW...Torii balled!!

Yeah, he did. Kinda happy with the way he's working out. Thanks for your assistance in his development.

No worries...the sad thing is that these 21 yr olds have peaked a year late. I really think this team could have done some real damage in the WC games. Let's hope I get a weak team in the second round to start....maybe even Ukraine.

Got a pop for Birdman that I'm sure you like! Kenny Tom-tom with two sweet pops... and K-Mat had a triple whammy (JS, Handles & Pa!!).
Great day for my trainees!

Mr. Cake,
When will you cut your 21yo's so Bahamas may challenge?

I see your invite, Mr. Cake. However you still have 21yo's on your roster and potentially +1 ENT. Being that there was this little issue a while ago called "Pearl Harbor" (Never Forget), we'll need some assurances you won't break out the fossils. Neutral court in Africa?
