Team of the Scroll dominates the Brooklyn Knicks at home. Blowing them out by a final of 121 to 80. The Knicks put in more effort but with ShadowSlam figuring out their gameplan, playing at home, and getting their gameshape managed over the week, it was just their time to shine! Donald Luwa, fan favorite and early season disappointment, seems to have taken advantage of the training so far, as he finally makes an impact in a league game.

Donald Luwa went off: 10-21 shooting, 1-4 on 3s, 5-10 at the FT line, 20 rebounds (6 offensive) 3 assists 1 turnover and 2 steals.

Dave Burgos now with a few weeks of learning the team's offense was able to contribute: 11-16 shooting, 4-7 from deep, 3-4 on FT (his 1st miss of season), 3 rebounds 5 assists 2 turnovers and 2 steals. This in only 27 minutes of action.

Eric Marks now, team Captain at the start of the season, may be finding his job in jeopardy as his woes continue.
Marks shot 2-18, while grabbing 9 boards, 7 rebounds, 4 turnovers, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Player of the Game though was William Albert all the way. Notable back-up Guard due to his weak passing skills, Albert shows his strengths in other areas of the game.
Albert was 8-16, going 1-4 from deep, to go with 3 rebounds 2 assists 0 turnovers, 4 steals and 5 blocks. This guy plays the 1 and 2 about as tough defensively as anyone in the league.

Team of the Scroll coming up on a road game vs Closet Men, don't expect much there, and a fairly decent cup match-up. Plenty of action this week, stay tuned.

The brooklyn knicks continue to struggle, dropping their 5th game in a row.
They were outscored 24-9 in the first quarter and where never able to get back into the game.
After getting edmund farana back from injury, the brooklyn knicks hoped to get a spark but that never happened as farana started they game 0-5. The coach after the game said there is going to be lineup changes after another disappointing loss.
The brooklyn knicks visit the Closet Men next.

With the win tonight and loses by both of the conference's top team, the playoff window for the Oreos has been blown wide open. The Oreos look to ride this game win streak into the allstar break However, things will get difficult with the beginning of inter-conference play.

The Oreos took a tough loss tonight a home to the surprising Team of Scroll. GM Victor would be wise to heed the proverbial knowledge passed onto him by the meastro, GM Shadow Slam.

With 28 seconds left in the game, the score was tied 61-61.
Marks threads a pass to Thomas for the quick lay up, 63-61 with 19 seconds to play. The Oreos with a chance to win on a buzzerbeater shot, or force OT. However the end result turned to be 65-61 as the Oreos would miss their opportunity.

The Philadelphia Oreos had the advantages. More effort, Home Court, the better team, mismatches at 4 of the 5 positions on the court. However, it was Team of the Scroll that came away with the win. This was due to ShadowSlam's diligent research on Coach Victor's tendencies, and his GDP. This game was a defensive masterpiece! As both team's struggled to score throughout the game due to the wonderful defense.

Team of the Scroll shot 37.6% as a team from the floor. They were out-rebounded by 13, gave up 23 offensive rebounds, turned the ball over 15 times, and committed more fouls than their opponents. However, their GDP allowed them to blanket the offense of the Philadelphia Oreos, holding them to a team FG of 26.8%. The Oreos, were tied for 1st within the division. Not exactly a push-over team. This was a grueling match, and anyone who did not watch it missed out on one of the finest games that league IV.63 has ever seen!

What's up guys, I just joined this league.. i used to play a couple of years ago when Buzzerbeater still was rather new.. Season 6-10 or so.. Anyways here I am again.. I probably won't do too much damage this season, I'm trying to get a good draft and then build my team from there..

Looking forward to a fun season!

Good luck. Kinda sucks you got placed immediately into league . IV, realistically you're probably going to relegate. But good luck none the less.

I wondered that heavily myself too, as it was right before my game with him, and threw me off enough to take off my GDP guesses because I had no clue what he was thinking.
