Yeah definitely not a bad effort with your inexpensive roster.

I'm still amazed that you won our game though, I thought for sure my line up would win, even on TIE and you having HCA. Then you played TIE too and the end game ratings had me looking the better. Can only assume it's one of those games the BB gods decided to provide you with a magical edge that allowed you to steal the W.

I'll be ready to CT you on the return game at my stadium!!! }:>

Blame Rivah Sibley fouling out in 21 minutes. That took away one of your scoring threats and gave my team a rebounding edge for the remainder of the game. Doesn't explain how Chierwrut went 11-17 though (unless you switched the PF and C matchup).

I'm calling your bluff on the planned CT, because if you CT me in round 22, it will probably ruin your chances of winning in the play-offs ;).

Yeah that is a good point, not sure how Sibley fouled out so soon. I didn't have PF/C switched in D either, like I said it was just a case of the BB gods shining their magical light on your guys.

I did add a }:> after my CT comment, was meant to be tongue in cheek. It's more likely that I'll TIE in that game tbh. B)

i did find it odd that a $115k salary Proficient game shape C, fouled out in 21 mins.

....against a $35k C in Strong GS.

So switching SG and PF and playing patient to get a mismatch on the outside, doesn't work too well when you don't switch the defensive assignments...I am a dumbass.

Tough day for my team. Bell Park had HCA, decided to go Normal vs my TIE and two foul-outs took away any remaining chance I had of winning the game. Doesn't get any easier for me next week; the top two teams in the great 8 standings, one after the other. On the plus side, at least my upcoming TV game will be against a back-marker team :).

Very interesting league developing this season, I'd say that any one of the 8 teams in the play-off positions right now have a realistic chance of winning the league at this stage. Violationers once again find themselves in pole position after very briefly losing it to me on PD, but as seen from the result when my team played against them, they are far from a sure thing...

geez i lost to a buzzerbeater. don't get it. my C got creamed, yet has a good salary, good GS, good DMI... what gives?

last season my team shot pretty poorly from the FT line, not the worst, but close to it. and it was pretty bad in the league, 3rd last or something when i checked

so i ditched the two main culprits from last season who shot poor FT's and brought in guys with really good FT shooting.

Lets have a look now. Goluch - Sensational FT - shooting 69%
Farrugia - Strong FT, shooting 68%
Ireland - Respectable - shooting 67%
Wright - Inept - 51% (OK so this is probably fair enough)

so basically, the difference between Inept and Sensational FT is 18%. what a load of shite.

so now my team is actually shooting WORSE than last season. unbelievable.

yeah I still think you would have won due to my crappy gameshape but it certainly didn't help my cause.
