Yes i think we are both basically saying the same thing, that essentially its impossible to tell, especially because we are just using anecdotal evidence.

Hmmm now i am starting to think that the game doesnt need any skill improvement add too.
it is well balanced.

BUT you said
A good rebounder will retrieve the ball more often after a missed shot. Notice that height is already considered when a player's rebounding skill is displayed. A player who is 7'2" but has a low rebounding skill simply is very bad at positioning and will not get very many rebounds
So the Rebounding skill is not just about jumping up to grab the ball. It also consists of positioning, hustling for the ball, timing of the jump, boxing out the opponent etc. So I guess speed and athleticism is somehow embedded into skills like driving.

so the height of the players doesnt affect anything???
you can have a 1.75 cm center if the his skills are all right?
If so, then it is unrealistic...

You used to beat the taller guys because you have better skills than them

He wanted to say if we have ex. a 1,80m player and 2,10m player with the same skills ex.tremendous at rebounding, the taller player must have an advantage due to his height

Exactly, the height doesnt effect the attribution of a player but only the speed of training

PS.Someone will say it is unrealistic, someone not

Exactly, thanks for the translation, lolz
In my opinion it would be funny if a player, 175cm tall has the same rebounding skill with 220cm guy!!

Now, you said height effect the speed of training...
How?
the taller he is, the more difficult it is?
or if you are taller it is easier?

As for Yao he had 9.2 rebounds per game his entire career, it is good enough for me!
I know that the Worm was 2,01 and Sir Charles only 1,98 and were amazing at rebounding but they werent 1,75 as i said before...

Yeap, that sounds pretty logical to me!
