The top 2 teams from each conference will start to play against each other. I am glad that they were placed in separate conferences.

Clawz has 5 players on the All-Star team followed by uthinkuknow with 4. I am surprised to have 3 without a strong starting lineup. I heard that my injured center will be allowed to play in the All-Star game. I will need him against the top 2 teams in the Big 8.

It is great to see three teams at 12-1 this late in the season. Some good games for Saturday are Clawz @ uthinkuknow and Rhinos @ Diamantes. At least one team will be 13-1.

I think the all star algorithm needs to be fixed. There is no way that I have 3 all stars in this league. I wonder which conference will win though. We do seem to be pretty even.

Actually uthinkuknow has 4 All-Stars. I do not think that their PF should be starting ahead of mine.

My center is back from his injury after missing 3 games. He is not listed as the leading rebounder because he has not played in 2/3 of the games.

The MVP of the first half was one of the Clawz players. Their players do not put up great individual numbers because they share the scoring load. Dirk Schmoeller of the Icers won the last 2 MVP awards but he was transferred out.

The conferences are very even with the Big 8 holding a slim 25-23 lead in interleague play.

I just realized Emporia Lakers has my former star Josh Floyd whom I drafted and trained up as their current star. I see he has really thrived with the Lakers. Good job man!! Nice to see him continuing on!

Josh Floyd leads the league in scoring as a one-man team on a 33-man roster. Gregg Case of Clawz scored 59 points in the All-Star game. I previously mentioned how the Clawz players share the scoring load for their team.

I'm just gonna ignore the "voting" for MVP at the end of the season and declare Gregg Case the MVP. That was a dominating performance.

The MVP of the first half was one of the Clawz players.

The MVP award is a regular season award without regard to the All-Star game since only 10 players from each conference are selected. The stats from playoffs and relegation series are not factored in since not every team is involved.

The problem with the All-Star game is that nobody plays defense. There were only 2 fouls called in the entire game.

Greg Case has the best player rating in the entire league while C Manfrotto has the best player efficiency on their team, SF Faga leads their team in scoring, PF Jungjohann leads their team in rebounding, and PG Zuniga leads the entire league in assists. Clawz has the best starting lineup but an injury to any of their starters would hurt them the most.

Last season Zuniga received more MVP votes than Case. This season Faga, Zuniga, and Manfrotto received more All-Star votes than Case although they all play different positions.

I know it has nothing to do with the All-Star game. I'm joking that the best player in an exhibition game is a more accurate way of choosing the season MVP than the way BuzzerBeater currently chooses one.

I had the best player in the league last season (Visconti) and he didn't get a single vote for MVP. That's because I manage my minutes and train players by having them play out of position. Schmoeller won the MVP last season because he played 48 min in EVERY game for Icers and was the only player on his team who made over 10k/wk in salary. Icers also had a player come in seventh place in the voting who made 9k/wk in salary, and he also played 48 min in every game.

How do you win MVP? Make sure your best player never leaves the floor and ignore his plummeting game shape.

Oh, and.... Medrano > Manfrotto
