Players have only 1 chance and everyone drafted then, depends on their's skills if they will be good investment for the training and I can imagine that one tall center still cannot rebound (2) and defend inside (2) at all.. so what about him even if he is 18y..

Helloooo peopleee wakeee upp this is VIRTUAL GAME, not human players!! they don't choose when to drafted and if lose a year or no !

but if we stick the reality, player who choose to stay more year in college/euroleague/anywhere, will get more expereince and if he so good and talented, he will imrpove and learn so much in that year .. if he is carpenter, he will stay carpenter, but still will learn some things and earn little experience .

we talking in generality, takes the best 18y and the best 19y player, they are in the same level. do you find it logical..?

we could imagine the best 19y players were drafted the season before when they were 18 ;)

i agree the drat right now is not nearly optimal...i think you should give olders an advantage on youngers and rise the averages of the rookies higher, there's a whole diffrence from 1 draft pick and the last but if this game want to be like the real life then the first draft pick should be good enugh to play in the first 5 in his team in the NBA 1 draft picks are scoring 20 points in game most of the time and sometimes more but here you will be lucky if your new player will make a 10 poitns average...there is a lot to change in the current system for my opinion.

absolutely untrue. A few number 1 picks help their teams, a few are stars, and a lot ride the pine. This year's number 1 pick is not starting for the BUlls. Nor are the #3, 6, 7, 8, or 9 picks starting for their teams. J.R Giddens, the Celtics' first pick, will be lucky to see court time during blowouts.

Just because a player is a year older does not mean he should be better. And I disagree that draftees should have better skills than t three seasons ago.

I saw many times that my player, in fact crap on skills, while he were in the bench and played only 15 minutes or so, he got a one of best score that game

sometimes happens that if you have not much chance to do in a game, you will put a more than full power and your concentration is for these 15 minutes much more bigger than if you were in that match from the beginning... - it is called an motivation

..that's how low skilled players are taking their's chance in their's clubs, however question is if it wasn't only any random factor and this function IS or IS NOT in GE implemented..

I'm taking this under my research or will put an suggestion who knows, BBs knows

again, nobody said that because a player is a year-two older does it mean he should be better.. first of all, everything relative.. there is and there is .. I don't said it must that 19y be better than 18y and I have a lot of examples from the real life but anyway, reality or not, our draft system must some refreshing..

In fact at least three people said 19 year olds should be better, including yourself.
Some 19 year olds are better. Some 19 year olds are worse.

I think the draft is fine. Like Kozlodoev said, the draft is for acquiring raw material.
It's not supposed to be worthy yet.

Why does it need some refreshing? It has been adjusted 1 or 2 seasons ago with a new interface and extra information about the players you gathered scouting reports from. In my opinion it is too early to shout for changes when the current system hasn't been decently analysed yet because more data are needed.

Actually, that seems to be the basis of your whole argument.

Right, but I never said that all the 19 years old players should be better than 18y. and that's what he understood from the message.. it's clear that there is some 18y old players are much better than 19-22y(Lebron James at age 18 was much better than very senior foxes). but I talked about the talented players of age 19y in the draft system.. but again, all relative .

Anyway, the whole suggestion it to makes general change and not just between the rookies ages .
