Hi all,

My Swedish is a bit rusty, so I don't understand 100% of this thread. I'll therefore also make this post in English. Since recent activity has affected your national teams, I think it's good to comment some of the issues you have raised here.

First of all, individual cheating cases/accusations/etc. must not be publicly debated. (Use the cheating report tool, if you see any suspicious activity.) I will therefore go through this thread and remove messages I consider too detailed. Normally, this is a strict rule. In cases that have public interest, like the one with your national teams, people obviously want to have more information. It may be impossible to keep totally quiet about certain cases on the forums, but no details will be given by the staff. Please respect this position. I'm glad you have already discussed this as a group and come to the same conclusion.

Regarding having a Swedish GM, there was some concern that the issue was/is not correctly handled when there is no Swedish GM. Please be assured there wouldn't be any difference in handling this case if there was one. Possibly, just possibly, any cheating activity would be caught earlier should there be a person inspecting your league more closely, "as their own league" if you like. However, all the GM staff works globally, so this is not really an issue: you already have dozens of GMs helping you. I'm pretty sure there will be a Swedish GM at some point, especially as your league grows (Sverige is surprisingly small at the moment). From the communication point of view this will at least give you a person you feel safer to ask questions.

What you do need at the moment is a conference moderator. I don't know what the moderating situation is, but I see you have LA staff. I hope some of you guys already have Mod rights. If yes, everything is fine. If not, please ask Mod rights at least for one of you on the LA forum.

I wish good luck for the new national team coaches and both of your national teams. If you have any "non-this-issue-specific" questions, feel free to ask. You can even write in Swedish, I'll do my best to understand.

Why do you think this is needed? At the moment I think the Swedish forum is working quite well (except for perhaps low activity, but that has nothing to do with moderators).

I meant that a moderator is a more pressing need than a GM. While GM's work globally, Mods work locally. I'm sure you know the actual need for moderating better than I do.

A Moderator in such terms to redirect questions already answered in e.g an sticky, and those kind of duties?

Yep. Basically someone to keep discussions clean and organized, and when possible help other users by answering questions, finding and linking information, etc.

If you guys feel there's need for someone like that and you have a good candidate for the job, you can discuss this with the Swedish LA staff. They can make a request at their forum. Anyway, one of your LA's may already have Mod rights.

Ok, I agree with that. Right now the swedish forum is kind of happy little pond with no real controversies. If at some point the pond starts to grow into a lake or perhaps even a sea I guess the waves of controveries will grow bigger.

Haha, hade vi haft en MOD, så hade han ju kunnat gå i pch ändra trådnamnet till exmpelvis "Just nu: Landslagschocken".
